Sorry to post again, but I'm out thrifting and I found a black city bag for $7

How does it look?

It's fake.

Hello please authenticate purchased at resale shop. Thank you
I'm sorry, it's fake.
thank you I am learning
Saver's takes returns (as an exchange) for 7 days. Bring the fakes back and see if you can exchange them.

Comments: The creed/serial number doesn't seem right for the B plant. I wasn't sure whether Coach may have used more than one stamp in 1995 in that factory. Additionally, the zipper doesn't extend the full width of the pocket and pocket is considerably shorter than I think it should be.

I think this is fake too, also from LUV2SHOP4U247. Opinions?

It looks good. What a deal! The seller has no idea how important a creed picture is.
Thanks. There is another cheap black Court for sale on EBay now, and the seller actually obscured the number on purpose, I guess they are afraid that someone might “steal” the number? Based on what’s visible, the bag is post-1994, so the number isn’t even a unique one.

This seller actually refunded me some money because the shipping came out cheaper, so I got a great bargain.

That frame around the zipper is all the proof you need that these are both fake.

Would you mind looking at these for me? I have them, but now I’m all paranoid reading your discussion about counterfeit catalogs, and I’m thinking they look suspicious....
Both are authentic.

Both are authentic.
Thanks, Whateve! Sooo paranoid, lol.

I do have a question about each though—-

(1) the station bag looks fairly black on the outside, but very olive green on the inside. I looked through catalogs, and can’t find an olive green listed for this time period, so I’m guessing that it is faded black. Does that sound right? It’s definitely not bottle green.

(2) the 9974 has a “spray line” inside one seam. What’s up with that???

It's possible that it is green. Not all colors show in catalogs. Usually inside the pocket is a good place to see the original color. Rehabbing might bring out the true color.

It's not really a spray line. They often shaved the inside of the leather before they sewed the seam, which accounts for the white area.

I lightly rehabbed it and it darkened the outside, but the inside is decidedly olive green. if green *could* have been a color, and if you haven’t seen black dye fade into green, then I’m calling it green.

Ah! Great info, thanks!
