Hello again...just a bit interested in this one...but the photos are not that great.

Comments...wish sellers had better photos....if real will be expensive but at moment just getting ideas on prices from NZ point of view.

I don't know what that green stuff on the inside is, but I'd think very seriously before buying something that looked like that. The wonky pics are bad enough, but unless it's on brass hardware, patches of green stuff usually are NOT good news.

It's genuine, but I doubt if you'd like it if it looks anything like the photos. And you wouldn't have any recourse through a SNAD claim because the condition is clearly shown in the photos. I'm not a rehabber but if it's anything like the photos in real life, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole, or even a 10-meter pole.

JMO. Other opinions are welcome.

I try not to pay more than about US$50 for a rehab project. I know you're in New Zealand, which makes it hard to find reasonably priced bags, mainly due to the expense of shipping from the U.S.

I wouldn't buy this bag in any case. Pictures 3 and 4 may show a somewhat realistic version of parts of it, but the rest of the pictures have been badly corrupted by someone who didn't know how to use image editing software.

Catbird9, to me those patches of green look like bad water damage and mold, or worse. And why does the seller seem to be trying to cover up the bottom of the bag with some kind of paper and a plastic bag which have no other reason for being there? Even the paper looks like it's picking up some green color. My very active imagination keeps thinking "Brooklyn - mold - Hurricane Sandy 2012". Maybe I'm being overly cynical?

That's one of the differences between you and me - I usually don't give a fat rat's patoot about being nice when it comes to fakes, except for the poor buyers who got ripped off. You and I are "Good Cop, Bad Cop", and guess which one I am?
LOL! That's the first time I've been called "good cop."

A more accurate description would be "bad cop, badder cop!"

Hey, I like everybody! Except morons who play their car stereos with the bass cranked up so loud that the only thing anyone can hear is THUMP THUMP THUMP, and crooks, thieves and liars, especially of the species Greedius Lyingus Politicianus Bastardus. I would love to personally escort them all to the Gates Of Hell and kick them down the stairs while wearing my DH's motorcycle boots.

Take it back and insist on a full refund, it's FAKE.

The serial number has appeared in dozens of fakes (all-number serial numbers were NEVER repeated and were only used in one bag. Most of those horizontal "overstamping lines" above and below the numbers are also the wrong shape

Those "0444-31*" serial;s have been listed as "always fake" on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List now posted here at tPF in the Salearea Guides thread for a very long time now:
https://www.forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/page-3#post-33239562

"0444-317, 0444-316 AND 0444-315 and possibly others beginning with 0444 - some "classic" fakes are showing up with these numbers and have a number of mistakes in the creed stamps and on the bags themselves. Assume they're all fake.

Any 'classic' leather bags with the # 0444-31(X) and heavy horizontal lines both above and below ("overstamping") the numbers is fake."

And did you read the creed stamp at all before you bought it? Take a good look at the word "scrtches"

I should have trusted my instincts. Thankfully, it was very cheap, so I will dump it.

First, I'll state that I don't recommend Poshmark and for the most part, won't authenticate or recommend them as a safe venue for buying OR selling.

But I do look at listings there and will comment on sellers and I don't recommend Laura - leconomides.

Although listing you asked about isn't viewable, the seller is a mixer.

This current listing is fake:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Vtg-Patricia-Legacy-9951-purse-5d234743689ebc00de72ff43

And she sold this fake:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-Vtg-Patricia-Legacy-9951-leather-bag-5d1f630fadb58dff8fc74add

This is another sold fake:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Vtg-Coach-leather-handbag-2209606-5a260d602599fe7a61003be1

and another. Someone paid $169 for this!
https://poshmark.com/listing/Authen...5-extra-large-duffel-573aa661bcd4a7bfdf0a1a02

Fake Dooney:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Dooney-Bourke-all-weather-leather-pursebootleg-5a6ea39e3800c52bb35c95e9

Questionable - she copied the style number wrong but I'm not comfortable with the serial prefix:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-leather-MOD-3076-purse-5b99f55ede6f62493a2570b1

Oh strange, she must have deleted the listing I asked about. Thank you for the insight! Much appreciated

Thank you all...I like the style of bag but not the condition...and how they have presented it is a bit wonky...trying to get ideas on what condition is best and finding better value bags is a steep learning curve and I thank you all for helping me out.

Im sorry, I didnt scroll down far enough to see your question. It has been awhile since I had bought a Coach, and I completely forgot about the wonderful resource you have put together. I could kick myself.

It does almost look like algae growing in there! Whatever it is, I wouldn't want to know!

Hi. It’s my first time posting here. I just purchased my first 2 Willis bags from Goodwill so I’d appreciate it if you could authenticate them for me.
This is the the Blue Willis with nickel hardware.
Thank you.
