Please follow the following requests:

That's what my Mom did with the City Bag I gave her a couple of years ago. I finally asked her if she was enjoying it and she said she keeps it in the closet for special occasions because it's too nice to use.

The Ebay employee who took that down is 100 percent wrong, and whoever actually REPORTED that bag as fake is a bloody IDIOT.

We bust our ARSES here reporting fakes, and some of them are so bad that a blind person could see they're counterfeit. THOSE P'sOS sit around forever and some fool "wins" the auction and gets stuck with it, while Ebay employees wouldn't recognise a genuine Coach if it flew out their pie-hole.

What a royally F***ed-up company.

I just want to say that I have been selling authentic Gucci for over 10 years on eBay, and There was a time about 4 years ago that GUCCI Vero was taking ALL authentic GUCCI off eBay they were mad that people were listing Gucci and not getting it from a GUCCI store. Well, a bunch of us got together and fought it..I actually had a letter written from my lawyer about it and we actually WON. Now, they dont bother me anymore. So you see, sometimes its the actual company taking the auctions down even though they know that the bag is authentic. Its crazy.

BTW, the actual Sea color wasn't nearly as Aqua as what's shown in the photos. Below is one of Coach's pages from the Spring 1996 catalog but I don't know how close it is to reality. Maybe someone who's owned one can comment.

Seller has sent me a creed photo with serial number A4C-9940 but I can't figure out how to copy it from my ebay message and post it here.

Hi there-- Ok I don't buy much on eBay except when I stumble across something I can't resist like this one! Could someone please authenticate this listing which I already did a BIN. There is no creed photo and I have requested one from the seller before she sends it but is this style faked much? I did a google search and only found a couple photos but I've tracked it down to this:

Coach doesn't bother with that, unlike Gucci and some of the highline companies. They can barely be bothered to turn their lawyers loose once a year on the websites that are hijacking Coach's name. Their VeRO presence on Ebay is almost nonexistant, and I doubt if their VeRO rep ever checks current auctions looking for any Coach items, real OR fake. They really don't care.

Every single detail screams fake, but I don't want to post to wall of shame without professional opinion.

Fake printed lining, fake unreadable creed with really bad stamping and an invalid serial number.

I'm late to the request and the listing was already removed but I decided to look at portagee1954's other current and previous listings.

This listing ran more than once, ended most recently "because the item is no longer available." The lot listing includes several fakes.

I have seen a few bags that the creed says, " made in Vietnam"

Is this true? A seller swore to me she paid and had it authenticated... But it makes me leery

We can't authenticate without seeing the actual bag and creed, but Coach did make things in Vietnam. Why would it make you leery? Only Korea should make you leery.

You refer to a "seller." Is this an ebay listing? Or another online link? Please post a link to the listing.
