So, I’m that seller and found this forum when trying to figure out why my listing was removed. Just so you know, I posted the photo so quickly because i happened to be home in the next room with the bag, not because i have some elaborate Coach bag scam going on.

I don’t know enough about designer bags, obviously, because I bought this bag thinking it was real. I’ve never owned a designer bag before, and I’ve certainly never bought a fake knowingly. I bought it from a vintage seller on instagram who is now refusing to refund me. I don’t know why I’m posting here other than because I feel like **** because not only did I get ripped off, but there’s a forum where people are talking about my attempt to make a lousy $75 to put towards my savings like I’m some nefarious scam artist.
@suigenerisme - I'm sorry someone ripped you off by selling you a fake. I'm also sorry you weren't aware of the prevalence of fakes!

Regarding the Instagram seller from whom you bought the fake, you can post a link to the listing and do it as a warning for others who might consider buying from her.

How did you pay for the bag? If you used Paypal, you can file a dispute for "not as described." With Paypal, you'll have to pay return shipping but once there's tracking showing delivery back to the seller, you'll get a refund from PP. (You may have to call and direct them to the tracking.)

In the future, you are welcome to come here and post items before you buy them. Had you done that, you'd have been told that the bag was fake and would have saved yourself the hassle of a dispute, return, listing removal, etc.

And for future listings on ebay, verify authenticity BEFORE listing. Ebay rules (and the law) require that sellers know items are authentic or they can't be listed unless and until authenticity is confirmed.

There are great deals (and steals) to be found at yard sales, thrift stores, craigslist, instagram, facebook, ebay, etc., but unless you know the brands, you'll want to make sure you aren't buying or reselling fakes.

Comments: Well, I fell down the rabbit hole and found myself desperately wanting a Regina bag. If anyone could take a look at this, I’d much appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

Serial number reads: M6I - 9983

Genuine, made in 1996.

If the seller already has a full set of photos posted, it's not neccessary to post them here, as long as it's a site that allows non-members to see their listings
