Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hello ,
This is my first time posting so please let me know if more pictures are needed. This bag was donated to my church rummage and like to know if it is real before pricing for the sale. Based on some of my google searching I believe it’s a fake, but I figured I’d check here.

You are correct as it's fake.

Unfortunately, it's illegal to sell, even as an admitted fake.

Personally (my opinion about Poshmark aside), I wouldn't have purchased the bag anyway because the anomyalies would make it too hard (if not impossible) to convince someone of authenticity with certainty should you decide to sell it in the future.

Another thing I also find really strange (and unusual) is that this isn't something we've seen. I have a hard time believing that Coach found and corrected that error quickly enough that another bag with the same mistake hasn't shown up.

Anytime you see a Korean fake with "Coach" markings, you can post directly to the Hall of Shame thread. ALL Korean "Coach" bags are fake so requesting an authentication isn't necessary.

First one is reportable as fake.

From what I see of the second, it doesn't appear to have anything with Coach's name so the listing is reportable for KWS (key word spamming) since she used Coach in the item specifics as the brand.

I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing, I can’t figure out how to make my own post… It seems like I’m replying to someone else I’m sorry if that’s the case I’m still figuring this out. Just trying to find out if those coach bag is real or not LOL

Sorry for my confusion and thank you for any and all help. I received this bag as a gift from an 80 year old woman and know nothing about it.

You need to follow the instructions in Post Number one of this thread. Right now you;re missing several important pieces of information that we need and also at least one VERY important photo although I can probably answer your question just based on what I'm seeing.

You DON'T make a separate post in this thread, you just add on to the posts already made. There's one single Authenticate thread. Just add your question in the empty box below the most recent post.
