I also have question about the fray end of the thread, am worried it will unravel after sometime? Should I return it?

Thank you in advance for any advice!

I wouldn't worry about that thread. I don't think it will unravel. If it was mine, I'd put a drop of glue on it so I could smooth it down and wouldn't have to see it.

Or that old stand-by, clear nail polish.

That part of the stitching already looks like it's double-stitched so that should help too.

There's a warm fuzzy place in my heart for the purse-eating plant, as it slowly engulfs a tacky, cheaply made fake pink Coach that's piteously whimpering "Saaaaave meeeee..."

Picture the poor plant a day or two later, gasping its last breath on the jungle floor while it vainly tries to cough out the toxin-loaded Foach. And as it spews out a cloud of noxious green fumes with one final belch, the plant gives up the ghost and the slime-covered but still-breathing Foach slowly slithers into the underbrush, looking for its next victim.... :D
I love this! My favorite movie is Little Shop of Horrors so I can relate to a purse eating plant.

:lolots: You should be writing sci-fi books, Hyacinth!

I was inspired by Little Shop with a touch of Twilight Zone, probably. Not to mention that lovely pink purse. How could you NOT think strange and twisted things just looking at something like this? The story just kind of writes itself. :graucho:

You have to feel sorry for the poor plant, trying to digest all that metallic gold vinyl. :D

Two out of three aint bad! The Sheridan is a Savannah hobo and is pretty rare. The Soho flap has super soft leather. I agree with Hyacinth, the Anderson zip's creed has a font that doesn't match any authentic creeds I've seen from that plant.
So......:happydance:
I ended up with these two bags. I had my eye on them before the posting came out.
My question now is about the Sheridan bag. It has a really long strap, like a cross body.
The adjustable strap drops 21-25". Not a hobo. Measures 12" x 9" x 3.25".
Is it a hobo???

The scary thing is, someone might like it and buy it!

I have a red Sheridan Savannah. Same 'rare' fastener. I think it's more aptly described as a cross body or even a bucket, however I believe Coach called it a hobo. I'm trying to find the info about the fastener. Can't remember the thread.

That is, without a doubt, the ugliest bag i have ever seen.

Ever.

Hyacinth has told its story well.

Can see the noisome swamp murk gurgling as it closes over it. And burps. Noisily.
