Genuine, Hamptons Leather Satchel from 2005. I'm not sure if the color was that bright in real life, Coach's website photo of that and other styles from the same line look a bit more subdued.

Thanks, Whateve, that makes sense. I can't really imagine the Feds just handing Coach a stamping mechanism of the Great Seal Of The U.S. and saying, "Stamp it on whatever you like, folks, no problem. Just tidy it up and bring it back when you're finished."

Just an Edit. I must apologise for this rushed authentication. She put me very much on the spot and started talking about her cancer. I was trying to take photos and load up while watching my teenage helper so was getting a little stressed hence the very bad photos. She has now gone and I have bought the bag but I have her number if there is any issues.
If you would like me to load up better photos and try and get the link working I can do this tonight.

The inside is finished different on the bottom inside, the strap where the buckle is is different slightly. The others don't have the rivets. Also beginning with J8 concerns me. You are correct about the J8H prefix.

Be aware that the_primitive_pumpkin has a history and this isn't the first fake.

I don't believe this is authentic. It looks like it's trying to be 4133 but has a different style number that doesn't match the bag.

Here is an Abbie that I bought on eBay a couple of years ago. The zipper pull hardware is silver but the zipper and other hardware are brass. Maybe the color rubbed off or it was replaced? Or maybe it’s just fake?
