It's a studio bag # 4081. It was made around 1991. I think I've only seen this style listed once or twice. Although it looks somewhat similar to the Jackie bag, they were made around different times. The Jackie bag is much smaller and is lined. This bag is unlined and is huge, more like briefcase sized.

The Jackie is beautiful but I've steered away from it since the strap isn't adjustable. In spite of this one having a modification, it is calling to me. I saw a listing for this style exactly once prior to this and it was gorgeous but sold lighting quick. This looks like a good candidate for carrying a computer/using as a work bag.

Both are authentic. Due to the lightweight leather, these don't rehab quite as well as classic Coach. The panels were likely slightly different colors when it was made.

ETA: we actually prefer it when you don't group requests. It is harder to keep track of and research several items at once. Two or three per post is fine.

To clarify, I should have said any other instead of other red 9085 duffle sac. I was asking a general question about the 9085 duffle sac category and not referencing a bag in particular. I wanted to know in general terms whether a "Barbie" 9085 Duffle Sac is viewed as more collectible than a 9085 Duffle Sac described as just vintage. From reading your response, the barbie reference adds no value or distinction to the 9085 style.

You are correct. There was never a Barbie 9085 Duffle Sac. The Barbie doll was made in 2013. They decided to have her carry a duffle sac because it was iconic Coach. The one she carries has a tassel because they were doing tassels then; it was part of the 2012 Legacy release. They also made a keychain that looks like nearly the same bag. They never made a full sized bag at that time that had the same characteristics.
