I am new here and not familiar with Coach bags or anything of the sort so please bear with me! I have 2 bags that were given to me a long time ago that I never used. I'm interested in selling them but I'm not sure they are even real. Can someone help me with authenticating these? (other bag in previous post)

Thank you in advance!
Robin C.

This first one is counterfeit, and can't be sold or traded anywhere in the US. Selling or dealing in counterfeits is a Federal offense and a felony under US law. And fakes should never be given away or donated to places like Goodwill or other non-profits like church rummage sales or any place where the fake might end up back in circulation. The best thing to do with fakes is to destroy them, or write FAKE on the outside back and the lining and leather patch inside with a thick permanent marker like a Sharpie. Or use it yourself until it falls apart, which it will do eventually, and then put a few rips in it with scissors or a box cutter and throw it in the trash.

Oh my gosh. are you serious?? I have never heard anything that intense about a purse before! I thought fake, brand name purses were all over the place...all those on Ebay and whatnot, those are all real bags? Because I have to assume people would be out of their minds to sell fake bags online if the repercussions were that severe...?? But like I said earlier, I don't know anything about any of this. I carry a vegan, canvas bag...clearly the person that gave these to me didn't know me at all...luckily I did not end up marrying her son cuz he didn't know me very well either... LOL
Anyway...thanks for the help with these...and the lesson in designer bags! Trust I will NOT be selling the fake one! oh, any idea what the wristlet might be worth or that I could get for it? When I google it I don't see one exactly like this.

Thanks for your time and expertise,
Robin C.

Hello
I'm brand new to this web site. Please excuse me if I'm doing it wrong. I need help authenticating my Coach Purse. I was given all my Aunts "things" when she passed. I found this Coach purse and am trying to figure out if it is real. I have found it on the inter net but still can't figure out if its the real thing. It is in a black box with tissue paper. On the out side of the box is a label. The label reads:
Coach Leatherware A Bonnie Cashin Design. There is a picture of 6 men working (tanning hides maybe?). On one end of the box is a white tag it reads 8595 white. From what I found I think the purse is called a MINI TOTE. The purse is off white. It has very thin straps with a 5" drop. It has an open top, rainbow lining, a small pocket on the inside, there is NO Coach tag inside the purse. There is a pocket on the outside also with rainbow lining and a "KISSLOCK". There are 4 metal feet on the bottom. the purse is 5 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide measured across the bottom.

What a treasure! This is something collectors look for. I'd like to see the lining. Is there any tag at all inside the purse? I believe this was called a mini attachette. It looks like this Bonnie Cashin illustration.
