Yes it has brass buckles too! I just found a courier bag with that zipper on Ebay. So it was a thing for a while.

So we have another name to add to our Coach zippers collection. So far it looks like they've used Talon, Eclair, RISI, RIRI, Ideal, WILLSE, some unknown company that just used a number "5", and probably Ziplon, Falcon and Dove as well as YKK. And that doesn't include some oddball zippers like the ones in my Sheridans and Dakotas that don't have any marks on them at all that I can find.

All those bloody fools who wrote all those useless "authenticity guides" who insisted that Coach had ONLY ever used YKK zippers and that a "Coach" with that zipper brand had to be genuine and any with a different brand had to be fake can take their guides and stick them where the sun don't shine.

Assuming the 3 creeds are from the actual 3 bags, they look fine.

If she wants to save herself the work, she might listen if you recommend that the seller include the necessary pictures for authentication purposes.

Comments: thoughts on this item? Besides the black tag inside it doesn’t seem to have any other tags inside. The listing says it’s vintage, I’m not familiar with the older styles—would this be considered vintage ?

It's genuine, from the early 2000 decade, maybe around 2002 give or take a year or two either way. Since it's not 20 years old yet it wouldn't be considered vintage until 20 years after it was made.

I don't remember the name of the line it's from but will try to find it later if I have a chance.

ETA - Here's a wool hat from the same line, probably one of the many Holiday Plaid lines from between 2002 and 2005. They may have been made for the Factory Stores.
