Please follow the following requests:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I don't recommend contacting the seller for several reasons.

While there are honest sellers who would appreciate a heads up, too many others know exactly what they're peddling and don't like being called on it. They can report YOUR message as misuse of the messaging system and enough of those reports can (and sometimes do) result in a permanent suspension from ebay!

Use the report button and also, post on the COACH Hall of Shame - Post Coach fakes here! for others to report. That way, the seller gets the message directly from ebay and you won't be "attacked" by a vindictive seller.

It's genuine, made in 2006. Coach's official name was "Legacy Leather Large Pocket Tote" (or Hobo, depending on which copy of their webpage or catalog you find). I've also seen it very unofficially referred to as a Brooklyn Tote but the strap details seem more Hobo-ish to me. The color was called Bronze.

Hi guys, so I bought a lot of bags off of Ebay awhile back and I had them all authenticated here, out of the 4, 3 were fine but there was one bag that we couldn't read the creed and such. So now that it's in my possession I'd like to make sure its real.
Patricia? 11x8.5x4, I believe the creed says f1d-9951, added some pictures because you can't see much in the original listing.

Although @whateve responded to your tag, I have a few comments.

It's not necessary to repost in just 2 hours when you haven't received a response.

There can be several reasons, not the least of which is that we volunteer our help, advice and expertise on our own free time. We aren't compensated by anyone (including TPF) and aren't on TPF 24/7. We have jobs, families and real life obligations that take priority.

Because we volunteer, we also are permitted to ignore requests about items on sites we find dishonest or unethical and we can also choose not to respond to any request from any member for any reason.

Another reason why there can be delays in responses to authentications is that each of us has our areas of expertise and sometimes, a post is an item that someone else is knowledgeable about.

Please allow 12-24 hours for a response before bumping a post.

It's fine. It's a stewardess, probably made in the late 70s or 80s.

Exactly. Those with creeds usually don't have the logo on the outside, and those with the logo on the outside don't have creeds. I think those with creeds were generally made later.

I agree those with creeds usually don't have the logo on the outside, I only have one that has both. I've only seen it in the catalog as a Large Cosmetic Case - mine is smaller, so I assume it's called Small or Medium. It has the creed stamp inside, on the full length pocket, and outside on the bottom there's a tiny logo stamp.
I totally understand why Berkeley items don't have any stamps on the exterior - guess they're too hairy for that, lol!
