I'm sorry. I'm not ignoring you. None of us know every Coach item that has been made so we only authenticate those that we are familiar with. I specialize in vintage. If it is a recent bag I own, I can authenticate it. I don't have this bag and am not familiar with it so I'm hoping another authenticator will help you.

It helps if you tell us where you purchased it. If it was from an online site, links would also help.

Ohh okay, thanks so much for the clarification! It's been a couple of months and I'm still unsure of how tPF works :sweatdrop:

It was from an online site but I don't have a link as it has passed.

Another GW find. It looks to me like it might be a 1995 Patricia's Legacy, if it is legit and I'm reading the creed correctly. Please let me know if anymore photos are necessary.

And I have the same problem as Whateve. My specialty is styles from the mid to late 1980s thru about 2005-2010, and I'm not familiar at all with your bag or where to find photos of proven genuine examples so I wouldn't be comfortable giving an opinion..

Knowing it's from an "online site" can make it harder to be sure it's authentic, especially since we can't see the site itself to know what they sell and whether they make any effort to be sure their products are authentic. Do you remamber what site it was?

It's poshmark, kinda like Ebay. Not really an indicator :hrmm: Thanks though!

No, Poshmark has been known to sell both, unfortunately. We probably see a slightly larger percentage of fakes than genuine, but that could be because buyers of questionable bags that don't look or feel right for some reason are more likely to come here for an authentication.

Please confirm (or not) that the blue handbag shown in this listing is bogus.
THank you!

Completely and utterly bogus - non-existant color that was NEVER used by Coach at any time in the 1990s, massively off-center creed stamp, wrong font and spacing in the serial number, fake buckles, incorrect double row of stitches above the inside pocket.

I have that bag in periwinkle, which looks similar to a couple of the pictures, but I agree that one is fake. Another thing to notice is that there is no edge coating anywhere. In the 90s, Coach used matching coating on the edges.
You've received your answer of the blue bag in question but I'll chime in with my opinion of spongeboob29.

I think she purposely either blurs or photoshops her pictures so the creeds are difficult to read. However I think I see enough to know that there are other fakes.

I can't read the prefix on the second one but it appears to be 3 alpha characters beginning with N:

This was has an Italy plant code but says it was made in the United states:

Any ideas on this one. It looks strange.

I think the last one, the backpack, might be okay. I can't read the creed at all. It should be style 9791. Usually counterfeiters screw up the shape of ends of the drawstrings and don't sew all the way around the leather thingy that holds the two strings together. I don't see those problems with this one. I think it is really black but the flash made it look like this glowing blue object.

I agree, the shorter end of the strap has been chopped at least 8 inches, maybe more. The seller is copying bits and pieces from another listing or listings so she probably copied the drop measurements from somewhere else. She can't seem to decide on the serial number prefix either.

I'd stay away from that one.

Check out the huge, non-matching stitches right above the squared D-ring attaching the strap to the bag. Looks like the entire short end of the strap was doubled up and sewn back together.

Grrr! What's up with me finding all these bags with messed up straps?!? Honestly, straps aren't one of the first things I examine when looking at bags to purchase a bag; however, I'm going to have to make it a priority to do so apparently.

Oh wow! That's a much higher ratio than I am comfortable with. Hopefully I can get an authentication soon :nogood::sweatdrop:
