Hi Beenburned! Thanks so much for the quick response. I think you probably saved me from making a mistake. I also sent the seller a message to the seller before posting here. I haven’t received a response yet so that’s probably another sign I should move on. Thank you!

As a side note, I noticed the creed has the outlet stamp on the creed. Considering the age of the bag, would this be out of the ordinary?
The bag you asked about is authentic.

I was just pointing out that the seller (clearly) doesn't verify authenticity of items and you'd think that a seller who'd previously had his account dinged for fakes would have learned a lesson.

But the fact that you'd asked a question and did not received a response is probably indicative of a seller that you might avoid.

Yeah I understood what you meant. I was just curious about the bullet stamp [emoji4]

There was a time that Coach had a "lifetime" return policy so it's possible that the bag may have been returned some time after purchase or may have been "found" in some warehouse or department store and sent to the outlet.

Hmm. In looking at the other listings, I'm curious how others feel about this item.

Although the little turnlock coin purses/keychains can be tricky, the back of the female turnlock raised red flags in my mind BUT when I went back to look at the item again, I saw the "COACH" logo imprint on the upper front! In fact, it looks double-stamped in one of the pictures.

(I know the answer now.)

Yep, gone already but it was definitely fake. It also looks like there might be a center seam on the base although you have to look closely at the photos to see it. Those coin purses didn't have center seams on the base.

Rare vintage Coach 70 black leather flap cover messenger xbody dowel

Authentic.

Another seller who can't be bothered to do any research...

The bag isn't from the 1970s, it's a style 9907 Logan Bag from around 1992-94. The seller actually claims "Handmade in USA in 70s (from XXX-XXXX numbering)" but a Coach made in the 1970s very likely wouldn't have any serial number at all, and it certainly wouldn't say "made in the united states"

Comments: I won this on eBay and wanted to make sure it was authentic. I’m also unsure of the style of it.

Genuine Bleecker Satchel made in 2000. BTW, here's no need to take and post photos of the stamp on the zipper pull. If you read somewhere that YKK zippers mean a Coach is genuine, that's rubbish, a stamp on a zipper pull with a certain brand name doesn't prove a darned thing. The back plate on a turnlock or the stamping on the "male" part of a magnetic snap is much more important. Read the Salearea Guides for more info on the YKK Zipper nonsense..

Hi! I am planning to buy a secondhand coach bag online. Can you help me identify if this bag is authentic or not? The dimensions are as follows according to the seller: 18x24x11

Thank you in advance!

Is there an online link to where this bag is posted?

The first thing you should do is to have the seller remeasure the bag. There's no way the measurements she gave you are correct!

Next please refer to post 1, page 1 of the thread for the pictures we need.
