alexmerced, listen to that above ^^^^^ ... Hyacinth knows EXACTLY what she's doing.

Just take a deep breath, take a look at post #1 of this thread, and get your camera ready. And do what Hyacinth says, okay? Honestly, she's been here soooo long and knows exactly what she's doing. They *will* get to all your bags.

Thanks for the vote of confidence!
Yep, I'm sitting here in the Chicago 'burbs and it's 13 BELOW zero with minus-30 wind chills, so I'm not planning on going anywhere. It's just me, my computer, and the beginnings of a large pot of pasta sauce.

We didn't set a new all-time record for coldest ever in Chicago last night but we did make 2nd-coldest, Number One is still owned by January 20, Super Bowl Sunday 1985. I was outside that morning trying to start 2 cars, not something I'd care to repeat. Good memories  . Maybe tonight we'll break the record. :graucho:

And remember that while they WILL look at all of your bags, there needs to be some sort of organization to it too, right?
Pick a bag. post the pics from it in one post, here.
Then pick another bag. Post the pics from it in one post, here.
Then wait and see what Hyacinth says.

Hyacinth, Whateve and BeenBurned. Three great minds are so much better than just one.

Sorry, apologies to all, I was typing fast, trying to help get a little focus. If they're real, some of @alexmerced 's bags are very nice. I especially like the green leather one that was posted out on the outter board. .... Just needs to slow down and focus a little. But I can understand excitement too. I remember dancing onto here years ago when I found that bright red Quincy (which you authenticated) for 3$ at a yardsale.
(And yes, stay inside. I've read you can get frostbite in ten minutes in your area of the country.)

Hi, I was hoping someone could authenticate these 2 Coach bags for me. I bought them both on a whim and they've both since arrived and I want to make sure they are real. I've included creed photos in addition to the ones in the listings. Thanks in advance!

Item: Coach Megan
Listing number: 222616492567
Seller: antiqueboutique*123
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-Cl...-96/222616492567?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144
Comments: The measurements listed are incorrect. Measures approx 7 x 7 x 3.5". Creed (below) is difficult to read but I'm fairly certain it says No 1028-235, Made in United States (I think)? Seller had some numbers listed on his listing but not sure where they came from.

Item: Coach Sheridan Charleston
Listing number: N/A
Seller: sarahhilyard2
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Authentic-Vintage-COACH-Leather-Shoulder-Bag-5a7517163afbbde532b6b2b2
Comments: Creed photo below. Bag is a darker brown than the photos in the listing which I guess were taken with flash. The color/trimmings/style seem pretty consistent with the other Charlestons I've seen online as far as I can tell.

Both of them are genuine, and probably from around 1993.

You don't get to start a new thread, that's why there are over 34,000 posts in this one.

Use the Reply box to post. No more than 2 bags per post, please, and take your time. We especially need to be able to read the stamping and details on the creed stamp and serial number. If there's no creed, or no letters of the alphabet in the serial number, we also need measurements. If we need a close-up of a specific detail we'll let you know.
