Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Both are genuine, from around 1987. Assuming her tape measure is accurate, I have NO idea why the seller is calling the second one a Watson Bag, they both look like City Bags but I didn't look at the pocket details very closely.

We don't recommend buying from Poshmark because of their abysmal record on removing fakes or refunding the money of people who bought them. But that bag is genuine.

Since it doesn't look like you posted a photo of the dustbag, it's kind of hard for me to comment on it.

And why couldn't the seller have included a cheaper, or even a fake, dustbag? Outlet bags usually don't even come with dustbags. Something that can be changed or removed like a dustbag or a hangtag can NEVER prove or disprove authenticity on its own.

If we say that there don't seem to be any problems, that means we believe it's genuine. If something is fake or even questionable, we'll say so.

Style names are never the best way to look for a certain style since most sellers don't know the names either especially with used bags. It's some variety of Soho Leather Hobo, probably the Large, and was made in 2003. You'll have better luck looking for it by the style number, 9542.

Both are genuine - Sonoma Soft Bucket, Natural Grain, notice that the color is listed as Sage although the photos make it look white. The seller also has a Negative for a previous listing.

As for the Lightweights Soho Bag, I don't know what that is on the inside, it almost looks like some kind of liquid that solidified. Nail polish, maybe? You might want to ask the seller, she says she welcomes any questions.
