Hi! I'm wondering if this is a fake. The Creed patch lettering is spaced a bit too much. It's beautiful, but I need to know please. I bought it 6 years back on eBay, when I didn't know better.

My aunt gave me this out of her closet. I think it is quite old, but welll-maintained. Could someone help me learn the approximate year of this bag? It doesn’t have a card, just a serial number stamped on the inside compartment, No. 0954-252.

It's genuine. Since I've never owned that style I can't comment on the piece of leather you mentioned. Did you look at other listings for Companion Flap Bags?

Welcome to tPF.
The first post in this thread asks that handbag measurements be included with authentication requests, but from the details in the photos I'm guessing that this one is about 7 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches, which makes it a genuine Compact Pouch, style 9620 from the early 1990s.

Understandable but can you vouch for the five you can read? I won't receive them for a week but I'd like to dispute as early as possible if need be, you know?
