  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Hi! I recently purchased a bag from eBay. It arrived to day with out a creed patch but it is a small bag so I wanted to get the opinion of the experts.

The measurements are 8” x 8”.
I purchased it from a thrift store seller so I have no idea what the name of it is.
It has thick leather and beautiful stitching. It came with a mini hang tag.

There aren't any problems I can see but I don't know the name.

Could you take a look at these hangtags for me? The black seems possibly suspect. Does not have characteristics of leather. Maybe just from a line I’m unfamiliar with?

Hang tags can sometimes be really hard to authenticate because they're pretty easy to copy.

My first thought was that the black one looks odd to me. I'm interested in what @Hyacinth and @whateve think.

My second concern is a bit more worrisome. We've seen genuine hang tags where the two halves have separated so there are 2 pieces.

My concern is that lkilmore_6 separated the halves from 2 hang tags (authentic or not) and sold each half separately, thereby selling 4 hang tags instead of two. (IMO, that's not ethical.)
This is the listing you bought on July 15:
VINTAGE COACH LEATHER SET OF 2 MEDIUM CHARM NAME TAGS BLACK BROWN VERY VERY NICE

This is another identical listing with the same pictures, sold on June 4:

Well, crap.

I bet your right. I don’t even know how to begin to explain that to eBay.....

I’ll wait to see what the others say. The black is very thin and almost seems like plastic on the front. (Could just be dried out because it lost the OTHER HALF OF ITSELF!)

Taking a double sided hang that has split and then selling it separately? Unethical? That strikes me as a Hall of Fame Weasel move by a seller.

Sorry, there are just too many well-faked hangtags and I'm not going to try and guess which ones are wrong. But there's no way I would have bought the black one(s), the texture, border and logo font all seem a bit off.

Hi coach lovers, would you help me authenticate this bag i bought this thru instagram its kinda trend here in the Philippines we have many online sellers thru instagram. The seller said she bought this in singapore from a clearance sale or singapore mega sale something like that. it is large charlie (charles) back pack made in vietnam.
