You said "At least one bag in this listing is fake. I can't read the creed of the belted bag so that may be fake too."
The "Soho Belted Pouch" IS fake, the creed formatting and spacing is completely wrong and the E code in the C6E-4156 serial number was used only by Italy in 1996. The creed says it was made in the US.
I did see the E plant code but wasn't able to read where the creed stated that it was made. Your picture clearly shows "United States," something I wasn't able to read.

Thank you for posting that.

So yes, I recommend staying FAR AWAY from EBTH - Everything But The House!

And anyone who feels up to it can feel free to refer their PTB here!

Hi all, from reading a few posts about authentication, I'm pretty sure this is fake, but I wanted to double check because I have very limited knowledge about Coach.

I got this from Goodwill, and it was just placed on the floor. I believe that it's a Sabrina. It's hard to read, but the serial number is H5N-789075, which seems like a fake serial number but i'm not sure.

It's interesting that you are bringing up this "serial number" because in the last couple of days, I've seen at least 1/2 dozen bags with that serial number.

The bag is fake and in fact, pictures aren't necessary. (Your pictures aren't showing but again, they're not necessary.)
1. Every bag I've see with that number would be a bag (copying a style from) 2006 or newer.
2. Creeds state US made but have an N plant code that would indicate a Mexican plant.
3. Date code indicates the bags would have been made in 1995, 20+ years before Coach would have made the styles.
4. Style number is invalid
5. Bags have been both fabric fakes as well as leather fakes but creeds describe a bag made of leather.
6. Most of the fakes I've been seeing are trying to be Sabrina styles.

The 4 bags at the top of this link are all fakes with that serial number.

Here's an old listing of a fake with that serial number:

The following are creeds from various fakes with that number.

Nice job of research, BB!

It looked for a moment like this was a new Always-Fake number until you spotted that one from 2015. Wonder how many more slithered through?

Just checked Google and tPF, they go back at least as far as 2010!

I wonder if the makers just released a bunch of them recently.

Hi everyone, I need some opinions, I bought a, what I think, is a vintage coach bag at the Salvo today and I need a little help figuring out if it's real or not. It was $5 so I'm not gunna be too upset if it's fake.

We need to see the entire bag to authenticate but I'm not seeing any problems with the creed. If authentic, it isn't vintage since the creed indicates it was made in 2001.

Oh sorry I will get all sides

It’s fine.

I'm glad you didn't bid but others have bid so unless Everything But the House is honest enough to end the listing and dispose of the bag, someone will get scammed.

Please update on the response because in addition to this fake Coach, they have other listings of fake Coaches and I'd like to know whether I should recommend or avoid such a site.
Brown bag in this listing is fake.
At least one bag in this listing is fake. I can't read the creed of the belted bag so that may be fake too.
The patchwork bag is fake in this listing.
The "Whitney" in this listing is fake.
This bracelet is counterfeit.

So far, I'd avoid EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE - EBTH.
I emailed them to see if they will remove the listings. We will see!

It's not in the best shape

That is a beautiful Legacy Zip Hobo 9966 and quite a find for only $5! That bag originally sold for $288 and it will rehab very easily and look fantastic; take a look at the link below for before and after pics of the same bag that I rehabbed. I paid $15 for mine and it was in much worse shape.
