Sorry, I didn't realize you were asking for authentication. The pictures are horrible but I don't believe I've ever seen a fake with a Dominican Republic creed.

I don't know how we would identify a fake Bonnie Cashin for Meyers. I don't think anyone has a catalog to compare to. I don't think they were faked in the past, but they could be faked now that they are selling well on ebay.
Thanks Whateve. I was interested but ended up buying a black Turkish Patricia instead. I think Flushpuppy was looking for one.

It will be interesting to see if anyone does bother to fake BC for Meyers.

I think this seller has been discussed in the past, both having listed fakes as well as "embellishing" values and polishing bags.

Please tell me what you think of the creed on this bag. Am I reading it correctly? (I know the answer.)

Also renee1victor3 on ebay but the bag isn't listed there.

I think that one may be genuine and it's just a stamping mistake. The serial stamping details are exactly right except for that one problem, and the turnlock back looks right too.

Please authenticate. Last one for today. I have run amok in vintage Coach world...

I love this color! If I ever get my hands on the larger size, you'd better get out of the way!
After looking through my few late 80s and early 90s catalogs I still can't find anything it could be, sorry. The shape is a bit like the Town Bag but most of the details are different.

Best guess is that it's from some time between 1990 and 1992 when they had a color called Berry for the Lightweights which could be the color of the bag in the listing.
Thanks very much!

You're welcome! I think Flushpuppy finally found one.

I did find one, but it has yet to arrive. Thanks for looking out!

I didn't get a reply from anyone so I'll ask one more time and get off of my Coach Willis kick-does anyone know if this bag was made with silver or brass hardware or both as I've seen both. Thank you[emoji179]

When did you ask? I can't find any other post here with that question from you. It's hard to answer a question that hasn't been asked.

If you ask a question that wasn't answered, after a reasonable amount of time use the Quote feature in the first post to post it again, or post the link or question number so we can find it. Please don't just keep asking it again in a new post without pointing back to the original post.

AND IF YOU ACTUALLY POSTED YOUR QUESTION AT EBAY'S FASHION FORUM, PLEASE GO BACK THERE AND READ THE ANSWER THAT WAS POSTED ON 3-11 TWO HOURS AFTER YOU ASKED THE QUESTION. TPF is not the same as the Ebay Fashion forum.

To REPEAT:
It depends on when the bag was made and what color it is. Post a photo or listing and we can tell you if it's genuine, if that's your concern. You can post links to active Ebay listings or listings from other sites here at tPF, but you're not allowed to do that at Ebay's forums.

Don't EVER buy a Willis or any Coach bag without having it authenticated, it's a highly-faked style. Or if you're looking for something specific, say so. Silver was only available from late 1998 to the present and only with certain colors.
