Please follow the following requests:

• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock

Hello.

Total Newb here. Considering buying this bag second hand for $80 CAD (about $65 USD). Don't know anything about these bags...mother's day gift for the wife.

Can one of you wonderful people give me some advice? Is it a good price and...is it a legit bag?

The bag shown in your pictures looks fine. When you pick up, make sure that you're getting the same bag. (Some sellers use pictures "borrowed" from other sources so what you see may not be what you get.)

As for value, we can't advise on pricing as an item is worth what a willing buyer thinks it is but to get an idea, you can search the style number (21121) on ebay to see what they're listed for and in the completed listings, the green amounts are the prices that they sold for. (Black prices were unsold.)

It's not made by Coach and appears to be a generic brand. (I don't recognize the markings.)

There are a few more pictures that are needed too, including the made in label sewn into the lining as well as a white tag with production/serial number info. That tag would probably be hard to find as you usually have to dig deep into the zippered pocket, often having to turn the pocket inside out to find that tag.

As she said she hasn’t shipped the bag yet I asked if she could take a picture of the serial number in the zipper pocket along with where it was made. She responded that there was no serial number tag, but there’s a tag that says it’s made in China. Should I just decline the bag?

Hi! I just purchased a Coach swagger on impulse because it was such a good deal and I’ve been eyeing it for so long but now I’m worried I may of bought a fake (too good to be true?)

I have a few comments.
1. Swaggers are well faked and clear pictures are absolutely necessary for authentication purposes.
2. Mercari is a site with a lot of fakes and (in my experience) not a good record of responding to reports of fakes.
3. As I'd said in my previous post, the "serial number" tag is hidden and hard to find, often requiring one to feel around carefully and pull the pocket inside out.
4. If the seller isn't willing or able to do so, you might consider declining because the bag can't be authenticated without more pictures.
5. The made in tag picture is necessary. It's not enough that there is one.

So, found this cutie, but not so sure about it. No creed patch inside, hardware feels lightweight, leather feels stiff. Actually, lining fabric does not look like Coach twill. Well made, just not sure. Dimensions are about 10" x 7" x 3.75" I think it wants to be a 49392. No style number that I could find inside the bag. Love the color, but can return the bag for a refund.

Did you dig around inside any pockets for a white label with 2 rows of numbers on it? (So far, I don't see anything that screams fake.)
