Hi! Could you please authenticate this item I’m thinking of purchasing?

Item: Coach Court chocolate glove leather crossbody messenger bag turn lock vintage
Listing number: 112952180007
Seller: millasboutique
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Cour...age/112952180007?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144

And here’s a closeup of the creed: View attachment 4048262

TIA for your time and advice!

It's fine but it isn't vintage. It was made in 2014. Don't expect it to have the same leather as a vintage Court.

Forget that the seller cannot even look at K9B and realize that that bag was not made in the 1970s. But it where does one start with this . . .

What specifically are you concerned about?

There's no problem with the B plant code or the font used in the serial number. There are as many fake *9B- serial prefixes using incorredct fonts as there are genuine ones but this one's real. Coach re-issued the 9735 Rambler in late 1998, and the 1998-1999 versions depending on color could have been available with silver hardware.

Other than the seller's cluelessness about things like serial numbers, which you've already pointed out, I don't see any reason for concern. What other details are you worried about?

Below is another GENUINE K9B- serial and creed:

Hi,
Can you please authenticate this thrifted Kelsey?
- There is no serial number on the creed and no inside white tag.
- Creed is the following in ALLCAPS (with these line breaks): This is a Coach bag. It was handcrafted / from the finest materials. Its / superior craftsmanship and attention / to detail reflect our commitment /to enduring quality."
- It's black pebbled leather with silver hardware.
- It's about 13 inches wide and 8-9 inches tall.
- All hardware is branded "Coach".
- The zippers are YKK.
