I don't have the grey version. Mine is black with snakeskin embellished handles and suede lining. To my knowledge the bottom should always read "genuine glovetanned pebble leather"

Edit- when I look at sold listing on eBay- none of the grey satchels have the "genuine glovetanned pebble leather" marking on the bottom. So maybe coach skipped the stamping with this color? (just to confuse everyone I'm sure!!!)

I think that’s what threw me off as well. I did see this bag in our Coach store when it first came out but I don’t recall if it had the stamping on the bottom. Maybe someone who owns the grey satchel can confirm?

Tyvm! Seller pointed out the other listings to me when I asked if they were firm on the price, that I would already be getting a break buying the bag & wallet together. I am still fairly new to shopping on Ebay, so I haven't seen that yet, assuming they will take down the other listings if I buy.

As a seller, I wouldn't do it because while it's unlikely, there's a chance two buyers may buy each of the items before the seller had a chance to end the duplicate listing. And if that were to happen, there's going to be an unhappy buyer, a seller whose account gets dinged for a cancellation and a potential negative feedback.

It's genuine, but NOT a City Bag, the flap is the wrong shape. Please remember to post MEASUREMENTS for all bags made before 1994 that don't include style numbers. There's no way to ID it otherwise. Thanks!

Sorry the measurements are Aprx. 9x7x2.5 if has a outside pocket like the rambler but made in the style of the city bag.
