The last picture looks a little odd to me: the blue suede strips and the uneven appearance of the leather in the middle.

The bag is authentic. I think what you're seeing in that last picture is where they trim back a bit of a layer of leather in order to make it easier to stitch the seam.

Hi everyone

So decided to order a purse without checking here first (I know my mistake). I received the bag today and was hoping someone could authenticate.

Item: Coach bowery
Serial # M1657-57714
Dimensions: 7" long, 5" tall, 3" wide at base

The bag smells like the Wilsons leather store so it appears to be leather. The care instructions match exactly what Coach outlet sends (and the paper feels the same).

My concern is the creed. The serial # indicates it was made Dec 2016 and I can't recall if Coach had started restamping the creeds at that point (the new ones in store had serial numbers stamped).

The creed says "This is a Coach bag. The storypatch is our badge of authenticity. Few people will see it, but it will always be a reminder of our commitment to quality and craftsmanship." Font is sans serif and very small!

Those aren't blue suede strips, that's the denim color fabric that the industrial-style zippers were mounted to.

We need more definite information than that. If they actually bought from the REAL online Coach outlet there's no need to authenticate them. That's why we need the ACTUAL URL, there are fake outlet sites selling fake bags with URLs that look almost identical to the genuine one.

One more update: I found the "made in tag". It says "made in Vietnam" It is black with white stitching and sewn into the upper left corner of the bag. It took me forever to find it!
