WTF is with these experts?

If they become expert by reading guides and owning a bag or two, they need to give it up.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with buyers who accuse first and then ask questions.

FTLOG! You have a 14 day return policy during which they can return any item for any reason! Why the false accusations?

Please either post or PM the buyer IDs so other Coach sellers can block them. (If the buyers apologize and admit their errors, they can be forgiven!) :smile1:

ETA: Tell the buyer who's going to get a professional authentication to make sure the service she uses knows the brand. There are several authentication services that have made many mistakes across multiple brands.
I am happy to share the ID's of problem buyers.
For the record, that does not extend to a normal customer who has a complaint, even if I don't feel it is legitimate...but when it comes to accusing someone of selling fakes, and then not even be willing to discuss or be able to prove it, that is the type of buyer nobody wants.

The buyer who is returning the Coach Peyton handbag...
Ebay ID: lahickey2004
FYI - She is a seller on ebay and she knows the ropes. Based on her responses, I am 100% sure that she just did not like the purse (buyers remorse) and chose to return it this way so as to not to have to pay any shipping at all and get her original shipping back as well.
I hope she gets a few customers like herself.

The second ebayer who outright accused me of being a liar, and again had no interest in any type of authentication process....
Ebay ID: paul.and.holly - I would suggest anyone who sells Coach be very wary of selling to this know-it-all.

Thank you all for your support, all the posters and authenticators!
(My husband gets the brunt of it but he can't offer much in the way of consolation or resolution.)
Everyone here is great.
:woohoo:

The first two appear authentic. The middle one is a small zippered pouch #9655 from the 80s. I don't know much about the wristlet but it looks okay.
Yay! Thanks for the style number, Whateve :smile1:

All genuine. Soho Belted Pouch, the second one was called Small Zippered Pouch in the early '80s, Zippered Pouch in the mid-80s. I can't be sure exactly when it was made, just some time between 1980 and 1987. The third one is one of the Hamptons Suede Wristlets, from around 2002-2004.
Yay! Thanks again, Hyacinth!! :smile1:

In my possession what I believe is a Sonoma, guessing from the 90s?
About 9 x 6 x 2 inches. Is it authentic? TIA :smile1:

I think I had a pretty successful morning out thrifting! Found 2 bags and a wristlet. TIA :smile1:

Like a dinky, don't know the name. A timeframe for when it was made would be lovely! Dimensions are: 8.75'' x 5'' x 2'' strap drop of 20''

I think this one's a Hamptons Wristlet? Dimensions: 7.25'' x 4''

The top part of the snap has Coach engraved on the underside.

FWIW, the third one (Hamptons suede wristlet) is style number 5869.

Wouldn't it be funny if her buyer filed SNAD on this one and she had to refund the full original payment ($17.94 including shipping) PLUS return shipping?!?!?

Is this bag authentic? I have a black one style 6707 but it has pigskin on the bottom and the vertical tabs up each side of the purse and the handles. I also have a black tote that has the pigskin on it as well. Also my 6707 seems to be a slightly different shape than this one; wider on the bottom than the top.
