I found this at a thrift shop but I haven't been able to find it online. Thoughts on authenticity?

Bummer. Thankfully I didn't pay too much. For future info for me - how could you tell ? By the style? Thanks for the quick reply. You guys are awesome!
Hi Jenn, my response was to another member, but I believe yours is fake as well.
It doesn't look like any Coach style I've ever seen and the hangtag has an incorrect logo. Generally, we need to see the lining and creed stamp (leather label) on the inside of the bag in order to be sure.

Oops! Sorry. I'm new to this blog and am still figuring things out. Thanks for your patience and help! Here are 2 more pics.

I called the Goodwill I bought it from & they said I needed to explain why I believed it to be counterfeit. Any info on what makes it counterfeit?

Yep!

1- the C pattern isn't correctly centered. On almost all Signature styles the right side should be a mirror image of the left side. There are a few exceptions but this isn't one of them.

2- TOTALLY fake creed patch and especially the serial number. Coach serial numbers in bags from more than 3 years ago NEVER have less than 6 digits in the number not counting the "No" and in bags made after 1994 the number is always in 2 parts, a prefix with the month, year and plant codes, and Coach's official style number.

3- The creed says the bag is made of cowhide

4- Coach did make a similar style but the "leather" trim and metal hardware on this one aren't correct for the style. The quality of the stitching is REALLY bad especially in the third photo, there are doubled stitches all over that trim piece and it looks like it was sewn by a six-year-old, which it probably was. The perforations are the wrong size and the detailing in the decorated leather strap on the flap of the bag is completely wrong on the back, there should be a square piece with lacing at the end. Pictures of the GENUINE style 1424, front and back, are below. Please note how the Signature C pattern is "centered" with right and left sides being mirror images of each other. That should have been the first red flag.

Unfortunately the creed pic is badly overexposed so I can't read the words or see what the lining looks like but there's probably at least one more problem there too..

Hi everyone, my first post in a very long time!

I bought a bag from eBay and I’m worried it’s fake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Item: BROOKYLN CARRYALL 28 IN PEBBLE LEATHER
Code: 56839
Seller on Ebay: us_dudar

The seller has stated they bought the bag from Dillards.
I checked the same bag at the Coach store in Australia and on the same bag in store they have a credo patch on them. The credo patch on the bag I purchased on ebay doesn't have the serial number.

However I'm aware that some of the newer bags have the serial number on the inside. Please see pics.

Thank you in advance. Michelle.
it looks good.

ETA: Please check post #1 of the thread for the posting format and info we need to see. We like to see sellers' histories and listings.

if the pictures you've posted are the item you received, my opinion applies.

I'm not sure which bag you bought from us_dudar but the listings don't have enough pictures to prove authenticity. And many of the seller's listings use Coach's own copyrighted images.

Sellers shouldn't be making unauthorized use of copyrighted works of others even if other pictures are the seller's own. JMHO.

Although Hyacinth already authenticated the bag in question, buyers need to be aware that heart0401 doesn't verify authenticity of her items and there may be some other fakes mixed in.

This listing is a counterfeit Coach bag:

So far, there aren't any red flags but the bag can't be positively authenticated without more pictures.

Please post a picture of the made in label and the production label from inside the bag.

Was this bag listed online somewhere? Please refer to the first post for the posting format and info we need.
It looks fine to me. I think it's authentic.
As I've shown above, this is why we ask that those with an "authenticator badge" respond to requests on authenticity.

Some of the newer styles are so "well-faked" that additional pictures are absolutely necessary to authenticate them.

Hello. This bag is in my possession and I would like to selll it. I sell on consignment for ladies in my neighborhood. The owner swears it’s authentic but has no receipt. I couldn’t find any others to compare it to. Please post large clear straight on pictures of both sides of the made in tag. So far, I don't see any problems but I can't find another like it.

It appears to be some type of Bonnie foldover clutch (possibly from about 2009-ish)
