Hello again! I have a couple of bags to submit for authentication. The Willis I bought despite there not being a readable creed photo (as you guys pointed out in my authentication post here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/authenticate-this-coach.889527/page-1487#post-31306710 - I guess I'm living dangerously lately. Once it arrived, I compared it to some others I saw on eBay and I think it's ok:

Looks good.

Thank you! Do you know the style? I was hoping it was but it looks like some of the black trim was peeling. Is that because of the lack of Moisturizer and maintenance?
The black trim peeling has nothing to do with moisturizer. That is edge coating and it does this eventually. It is a little difficult to fix. I find the easiest way is to patch it with fabric puff paint, but if you don't want it to be bumpy, you may have to remove more of the trim.

It is called a Soho Pleated Leather Tote.

It's a Soho Pleated Leather Tote from 2009.

Just an FYI - the brand stamped on a zipper is absolutely useless for proving a Coach is authentic. Coach has used other brands besides YKK, and plenty of fakes have either genuine or fake "YKK" zippers.

ETA - better late than never!

Hi,
New user to the forum (although I have been a lurker since 2015). I've been getting more into fashion and collecting Designer bags and I have grown to love the Coach 1941 line. I have always saved up money to buy new bags, and have never bought designer good from Ebay. I recently came across a Coach Glove-tanned "Tea Rose" Dinky on Ebay and would like someone to help authenticate. The Ebay seller is selling it at less than 50% of Retail.

Here's another offer for a Rogue Tea Rose Applique that's going for $700 -

First, welcome to TPF!

Regarding the 1941 collection, be aware that the bags from that collection are very (scarily) well-faked and clear and definitive pictures are crucial. Please refer to the first post on the first page of the thread for the posting format and pictures needed for authentications.

So I'm a little suspicious... the creed in the following listing is the exact same (serial number included) as another listing:

This bag is using the creed from this listing. It seems very fishy and I'm not sure what report category it would be listed under... Any suggestions?
boatcollector-usa is the picture thief.

Personally, I don't recommend boatcollector-usa. My records for this seller show that she had fakes in February, 2016, June 2016, August 2016 and April 2017.
