Did you compare that to her listing photos? The pics there clearly show a rectangular base. I wonder if she got the photos mixed up.

Good grief! Never even noticed that. What would you suggest? The bag is thick, chewy leather, hardware in good shape.

I am miles from being an expert. Bought this to replace one given to a much loved niece, which i still miss. (Miss the niece too--she travels a lot)

My first, gifted bag, looked and felt just like this one. But i realize that means nothing.

Anyway, thanks for your patience.

I just edited the post right before yours, post 2220.

Thank you!!

So it's okay? Will sleep peacefully.

It seems to be. Sorry for the false alarm! :smile1:
That rectangular bottom would have thrown me for a loop too! It looked so even. I'm still trying to figure out if it is possible to squish a duffle sac into that shape. Maybe it was squished so it could fit in the box. The seller should never have shown a box in the picture if she wasn't including it!

The bag looks fine to me too! You got a great deal! A duffle sac in this color could go for over $200! Congratulations!

If authentic, it is a Logan bag #9907. In the early nineties, Coach made this and the post pouch, which are like rounder Willis bags. They are pretty rare because they were only made for one season, I believe.

In the meantime, could someone please take a look at this listing for me? No creed photo and I've not seen this shape before-- is it rare? What is it called? Thanks.

I took a chance and bought this bag and I think it is ok but thought I'd post a few photos including the creed patch to be sure.

Ok and the last one for now, and also the one I think is most problematic;

Item: Legacy Zip J8Y-9966
Measurements: 11"L x 9 or 9.5"H x 4.5"D
Comments: sketchy serial number, creed not centered, but quality leather, brass grommets, zipper all the way across the inside pocket.

Thanks so much to everyone for everything that you do on this forum!
