Item: Vtg coach Duffle sac

Seller: salearea ([emoji33])
Comment: I didn't think I could ever find a fake sold by this seller. Confirm please?
Salearea is usually extremely careful when listing bags and verifying authenticity but I think he made a mistake on this J6D one. I don't believe it's authentic.

Please don't report until confirmed.

I've sent the seller a message.

Very rarely when the boss is out of the office for special holidays or vacation, the people taking over get an authentication wrong. Since this is a holiday weekend this may be one of those times.

I was just wondering that when I saw the listing whether the seller had new people working there!!

The belted pouch turned out to be too small, and now I'm on the lookout for a Willis bag. I'd love to know your thoughts on this one:
Item: Coach Willis 9927
Listing number: 252819983602
Seller: jmotata23
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...983602?hash=item3add3eccf2:g:nYoAAOSwzgBYzZBn
Comments: I'm a little more skeptical about this one. Some of the stitching looks a bit messy, and I noticed in particular that the hem is doubled over under the flap right near the closure. I don't think that's something you see in authentic bags, or is it?
Thank you again for your help!

Please authenticate as time allows.
Item: Coach Women's Handbag Vintage Janices Legacy Berkeley Black Reverse Suede

Seller: jewels4patty

Comments: In addition to authenticity, I am curious about the leather texture on Berkeley bags, especially how they wear.
It's authentic. As you can see from the picture, the suede on Berkeleys is hairier than some. They wear fairly well for suede, but as with any suede bag, with use the suede can get worn down and that isn't fixable. But you can wash these bags just like you can other vintage unlined bags, and condition the smooth leather parts.

It's authentic and the doubling or overlapping of the binding next to the turnlock is standard on this style.

When you say it's too small, how much are you going to be carrying in it? The Willis is fairly roomy but still only what I'd consider medium size, and if you use a full-size wallet like I usually do you may have to put it in vertically if you want to fit things like cosmetic bags inside. Its big advantage is in having two extra full-size pockets, under the flap and on the back, and the underflap one is perfect for a smartphone. One of the things I love about vintage and classic Coaches is that the designers back then never forgot how important those extra outside pockets were since most styles had at least one extra pocket in addition to the inside pocket where the creed was usually stamped. Today's designers don't seem to care anymore.

****thank you for your assistance and attention ladies****

You have a long-standing reputation as an honest and high-quality vendor, that's why no one pointed fingers and shouted "faker"! Instead everyone scratched their heads, shrugged, and said "it must be a mistake" (and it was!) That's really something to feel proud about, good for you!

Thank you! I was wondering about the hairy texture and the potential for washing it. This is exactly the info I was hoping for.
