I found this bag in my late mother-in-law’s belongings. I believe it’s a “Court Bag Cross Body/Messenger 9870” but most of the ones I found on EBay say made in the USA and this one is stamped Made in Mexico. The pamphlet is included along with the tag from the boutique where she purchased it. I have no idea if it’s authentic or what the value would be on this. I’ve never owned a Coach bag so I’m hoping it’s real since it now belongs to me. It appears to be 8” or 9” tall and about 3” deep at the bottom with a very long strap and a double sided coach stamped tag hanging outside. Thanks in advance.
It's authentic. Coach made bags in different plants in different countries.

Thank you!
It looks okay. It's not a rare style, being a classic pouch, other than that you don't usually see that strap on this style. At the time, Coach sold replacement straps and may have allowed the original customer to switch straps, or the original strap got damaged and was replaced. It is from the late 70s or early 80s.

Thank you for that information. I was thinking about bidding on it but I would prefer the original straps and I'm not confident on my ability to rehab it. The fact that its from the 70's or 80's is cool though.
