BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Is the following a Coach style at all? The COACH insignia on creed is not shown, unfortunately.

In this case, I don't get the feeling the seller is knowingly selling fakes. I think she's simply a newbie who doesn't understand how big and prevalent the counterfeit industry is, doesn't understand why a company wouldn't be able to authenticate items and because her bag may seem to be a good quality, doesn't get that it's fake.

Regarding the listing you asked about from seller walshdeb9858, it seems okay.

ETA: Although that listing seems authentic, walshdeb9858 has other listings for fakes.

wallet/wristlet, a common fake style that Coach never made in tattersall plaid.

I'm even shocked how close they can look, even the leather bags which I did not think would be so easy to replicate the quality..
But then, 'close' to me isn't necessarily close!
Thanks for looking, it's a cute bag but one I had never seen before.

Well, the plaid is all 'off' in matching and she does not seem to like to show creeds clearly.
I can't really tell what color that bag is anyway, but iI do find it attractive the way it is constructed on the sides. Thanks for looking into her store further.

Both look like genuine City Bags, style 9790. The first one is from around 1988-89, the second is probabaly 1987.

If you are interested in this style, it is called a Lightweights Soft Satchel. The style number is 4055. There is a larger version, style 4060.
