Coach Crossgrain City Atlantic Blue Tote Bag (looked online and found a bag that looked similar - I have no idea if this is actually the exact model but it looks like it)

I got this purse as a gift and wanted to know if it was real. I've never owned a Coach purse so I don't know what to look for besides the serial number, which I understand changed to a tag recently, so I really have no idea. Thanks for any insight!

Just following up to see if anyone could say one way or the other on this one? Thanks!

Comment: anything fishy here?
Sorry. I'm playing catchup because sometimes my notifications stop and I'm unaware that there are new posts. (I should just come and check but sometimes life gets in the way.)

What do you think looks fishy? I don't see any problems.

I am sorry, I missed the first post. I didn't see the section about if it isn't for auction.

Item Name (if you know it): Coach Crossgrain City Atlantic Blue Tote Bag (looked online and found a bag that looked similar - I have no idea if this is actually the exact model but it looks like it)
Link (if available): N/A
Then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos.) See previous post with photo's
  • Please be sure to include a clear readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number from inside the bag or accessory if there is one, and the bag's measurements when the bag is an older or vintage leather Coach.
  • Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number.
Welcome to TPF! It looks good.

vInTaGe! Coach Ladies Medium Red Oddly Shaped Crossbody 100% Leather Handbag
SELLER - holt-holt
ttp://www.ebay.com/itm/vInTaGe-Coach-Ladies-Medium-Red-Oddly-Shaped-Crossbody-100-Leather-Handbag-/322390104606?

Have you ever seen this message come up when trying to ask a question in an auction on eBay?! Looks like an attempt to get out of answering questions and there's no way to authenticate with only the pictures the seller shows. - We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of messages this seller receives, they are unable to respond to your specific question right now. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing.
The details look ok pending a clear photo of the serial number and a better picture of the inside showing the exact color of the inside zipper's backing. It looks almost black in the photos and shouldn't be. But the seller's refusal to answer questions directly contradicts what her listing description promises ("I'm happy to answer any questions you have prior to purchase so feel free to inquire."), and the reply.is insulting to a potential buyer's intelligence.
I'm going to be less gentle than @Hyacinth.

I don't recommend holt-holt.

A seller with just 50-ish listings isn't such a high volume seller that she's "too busy" to post good listings and/or to answer legitimate questions from buyers who are willing to fork over their hard-earned money.

If she isn't willing to answer questions, then she'd darned well better post the correct pictures that are necessary for an authentication.

Another pet peeve of mine is when sellers remove the pictures from their listings after those listings end. Not only is HOLT-HOLT unwilling to help with current listings but we can't even look at their completed listings to see if the pictures show authentic items.

IMO, there's little or no valid reason for an honest seller to remove pictures and be unwilling to post or send additional pictures when necessary unless she's hiding something.

ETA: Although I don't recomment holt holt, there is another option to contact the seller. If you go to her feedback page, on the upper right, there's a contact member link. If you check the "this is not about an item box," you can contact her.

But again, JMHO but she's not worth it unless it's to tell her why you are NOT going to buy from her.

My thinking is that buyers make my business, so I do everything possible to answer questions, describe in detail w/ pictures & just be honest. (I am however having problems w/ my auctions pictures looking dark or off color which disturbs me. They look fine on my end, but dark once on eBay. I know this is another matter & my problem.)

Thanks for previous replies. Moving on, as that has to stay neutral for now -. I have a key fob that I did not purchase new. Does it appear to be genuine Coach? Thanks. View attachment 3577715View attachment 3577716View attachment 3577717View attachment 3577718
It's authentic. I don't have a style number but it's from 2004-05.

ETA: found it!! It's style 92100 and is called signature loop. My own picture was from 2007 so my original guesstimate of the age might be slightly off.

It looks fine to me and the Snaphead doesn't have the problems usually seen on fakes. There were a lot of similar styles in all kinds of colors at the outlets, especially around the holidays. My guess would be that it's maybe around 10 years old, give or take a few years either way. Maybe someone can pin it down more precisely.
LOL! I posted above before reading ahead to see that you'd answered.

Yay! Thank you! I don't know newer styles at all. Only expert eyes can see the subtle differences that I'd definitely miss. No worries about being late. I don't get notifications now after I had to re-install Tapatalk. Only if I open the app then I see updates.

I live in Canada in Ontario. Where in winners did you find it? In the luggage area?
It was against the back wall, close to the change room area. I don't know whether all Winners stores are arranged the same way. It was on a shelf with the Goddard silver polish and other specialty cleaners. They even had a CPR granite cleaner/conditioner.
I am in Ontario too. Thank goodness I have eBay items sent to me in care of my sister in law in Massachusetts and pick them up when we visit.

I'm curious about this keychain. Note that this isn't a seller I want to do business with. While she has some legitimate repeat customers, she also has some "favorites" who are not legitimate bidders on her auction items.

Item - hang tag keychain

Comments: Both the lack of variety in the charm colors and lack of size variety of the charms has me questioning it.

That's funny, I found mine at TJ Maxx in exactly the same location - back wall, household items and in with the other cleaners. I guess the store layouts are similar no matter where you shop.
