1- I don't recognise the change purse at all. And although it looks as if something is stamped on one of the metal pieces holding the bow it's too small to read and it doesn't help that Goodwill stamped their watermark right over it. What little is even visible doesn't look like a Coach logo or name, the center letter should be an "a" and all I'm seeing in the photo is a vertical line. Maybe someone else will recognise it.

And whatever the "book" inside is, that couldn't be used to authenticate even if it's a genuine Coach insert. But a photo of it should have been included by Goodwill.

2 and 3- genuine, although #3 is a cosmetic case, not a wallet. It's probably from the early 2000s like the red Soft Legacy Small Backpack.
The red change purse with the bow looks like a Darcy Bow Framed Coin Purse. I don't know how it would be possible to authenticate it from the Goodwill photos.

Hello, I am hoping to buy a Coach Willis for the wife as a Christmas gift. Being inexperienced with authenticating vintage purses, can I get your opinion? I have some items I have found on Etsy that I believe she will like. If any of these are authentic, I would appreciate the notice!

Welcome to the purse forum. The first and third can't be authenticated because they don't have pictures of the creeds. If you contact the sellers and ask for a picture, we can look at them. The second one, listed by Tootsiescloset, is authentic. It was made in 1999, not the 80s like the seller suggests.

Please authenticate:

Thanks very much!

The coin purse is probably authentic although Goodwill needs to rethink the placement of its watermark and should have clearer pictures.

Assuming authenticity, it's MFF style number, 63264.

Hello everyone! Glad to see EVERYONE is here :)
I have a passel of bags that I have neglected to authenticate until now. I would love opinions and input on the following;

Coach Hampton Demi Suede Bag? 7470
10" long x 4 1/2" tall x 3" deep
IMG_2973.jpeg IMG_2980.jpg

Coach Watson Bag? 9981
7 1/2" long x 6" tall x 3" deep

IMG_3227.jpg IMG_3228.jpg IMG_3229.jpg

Coach Poppy....? Poppy patch but no number. Also did this come with a hangtag? I'm guessing gold to match the strap? I have a spare that I was going to add since this one has none.

All are authentic. I don't know if or what type of hang tag the poppy came with.

But wait there's more....

Coach Janice's Legacy 9950
10 x 7 1/2 x 4 1/4 with 48" strap.
I just compared my measurements to the catalogue photo (that I saved thanks to Hyacinth i think) and I'm wondering how they measure. They give a vertical of 10" but that must be all the way to the buckle? I'm always measuring usable size which in this case is at the center. Also the catalogue lists the strap as 52" but i'm guessing that must have changed over time. Last comment-- this seems darker than the normal British Tan but I'm not sure what it would be called-- tabac? I know my photo isn't the best but side by side with the Watson bag it is definitely darker.

IMG_3240.jpeg IMG_3241.jpeg

Coach Madison Ashley Op Art Satchel 13861
12" long x 7" tall x 5" deep.
(This one was missing it's strap so I added a similar but not exact strap)

IMG_3242.jpg IMG_3244.jpeg

Coach Hipster? 9142
8" long x 6" tall x 1/2" deep.
I thought this was the same as my Mini Hippie Flap (9132) but just realized it's a different number! So this is called something else... a Hipster Flap? Also this is a very dark red, darker than I've seen but not burgundy.

All are fine. 9142 was called a mini hippie, and the color was just called red. The color of the Janice is probably British tan. The shade that was called British tan varied quite a bit over the years. Tabac wasn't a color from the early 2000s.
