This seller has a history. I question this current listing from johnny-sells
Item: Coach "9992"
seller johnny-sells (ebay)
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Black...373647?hash=item5d6967df8f:g:ea0AAOSwzaJX8y3h
Item number: 401200373647

Same seller JohnnyConlisk (Bonanza)
Same item: Coach "9992"
Link: http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Coa...g-Backpack-9992-Handbag-Made-in-USA/398836777
Item number: 398836777

This creed seems "off" and I don't believe the B plant was in operation in 2002.

I've found 2 apparently genuine B plant bags from 2002, but the font used in both of the serial numbers is the same as the one the B had been using for several years, and it DOESN'T match the font in the photo of the fake 9992, and in the fake's creed stamp the Coach logo at the top is almost illegible. I doubt if Coach would ever allow that to happen to a genuine creed stamp. The Willis-style padded leather turnlock tab doesn't have the correct shape for the padding either.

Here is the assumed fake H2B-9992, plus 3 examples of what have to be GENUINE B-plant creeds and serials from 2000 and 2002, the last one from just a month before the fake was supposedly made there. The last one may be a bit hard to read but there's no doubt that the creed was stamped by the same stamp as the one right above it.

Thank you Hyacinth. I've seen that text font that this creed has (taller and thinner) on other fakes too.

I appreciate the confirmation.

Yep, and the digits in the fake serials are too scrunched together. They tried to make it look more like the old font used by the C and D plants but went a bit too far in the other direction. The word "states" in the creed is all squished together too, the 6 letters in "states" take up exactly the same amount of space as the first five letters in "handcrafted" right above it. A few genuine creeds suffer from over-squishing too but not as much as the fakes do.
