Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I agree. Mercari isn't much better. I reported this obvious fake like almost every day and Mercari won't remove the listing.

I had commented it was not authentic and forgot all about it. I only had two items for sale and one day I find someone commented on both my items that they were fake. I clicked on the commenter and found out it was the seller of the white bag who got mad at me and came to my listings to harass me for leaving the comment on her white bag. I tried but eventually someone did buy the bag. :(

@BeenBurned, I don't see the "report this listing" while on the computer but in the Mercari app its on very top right IIRC.
About PM I had already replied before getting this message that they should get a 3rd party to authenticate as the same authenticator is not going to see anything different in person with the item in his/her hand vs the photos I submitted. I was simply told that it would be done by their "team" Well, I googled PM and they have only 50 employees. What are the chances of them having more than one authenticator per brand? I won't be surprised if Marium, Margareth and Elana are all the same person replying to me all along.

No problem with the bag. It's absolutely authentic!

I sure do wish buyers would do their research before going ahead and directly approaching sellers with an implication that they have fakes. This is particularly disturbing that this buyer/seller did it to you since she's had it done to her!

That buyer is a damned fool. I never saw or smelled a Campbell that idn't look and smell like leather. Looks like in " rebeckin " we have a new candidate for "Blocked Bidder List Poster Child of the Month" :annoyed:

1- Soft Bucket Natural Grain
2 and 3 are the same listing - maybe a Hudson Lunch Tote
4- don't know a thing about Cashin For Meyers. But there's no stamp or tag on the inside of the bag, just something similar to a hangtag and it doesn't even show how the tag is attached and whether or not it's permanent so there's no way I'd feel either qualified OR comfortable trying to authenticate it.
