I would appreciate it if you all would take a look at this City Bag that I have in my collection. I have no idea where I got it, and I know the M code was used at multiple plants during this time period. I think it is ok, but I'd like confirmation. Size is about 11" x 7" x 4" ish.

It's really too bad you accused the seller before getting accurate and dependable information.

If the seller's account was dinged as a result of the snad dispute, please call ebay to try to get the ding corrected.

eta: for less than $11, it looks like you got a new (or very lightly) used pouch.

I had already shipped the bag back to her, canceled the return and spoken to e-bay to correct the situation before I ever posted in here. Also apologized sincerely and then copied and relayed all the great info about the bag and all replies/comments to my query here have all been relayed directly to her in e-bay messages. I had also offered to reimburse shipping costs because honestly, as I posted in my original inquiry...something about her simple and short protests rang true for me which is why I spent a sleepless night researching and then messaging the fine people here. Nothing was dinged and if I can get her to take me up on it and accept the shipping reimbursement, she will actually make a tiny profit and be able to sell the bag again for more money now that she has more relevant info about the bag that this forum provided for a better listing, but thank you for the assumptions about my character...Perhaps I worded it wrong but like I stated I am very new and joined mere minutes before making the post but I was very tired and out of my depth where the research was concerned. But lesson learned.......To post: 1. Defend character in depth....2. Ask relevant/pertinent question...Got IT and again SO MANY THANKS to the members here! You all made what I attempted to do over the course of a LOT of hours and a LOT of frustration seem effortless and simple with a side of class and I will always be grateful as I wanted some answers for myself and the seller who questioned her own truth based on what I said because I trusted Coach "Experts". I will never ask them another thing other than "What kind of discount did you say?". I will bring all questions that should be asked of real experts here if I am allowed to stay and learn your ways. Have a great rest of your night you guys.

Please authenticate.
Size: 11"W x 7"H x 3"D
The creed is pretty worn but the number is 288-2842 and it says Made in New York City.

Tone is difficult to communicate in the written word so our posts can be misinterpreted. I apologize if your feelings were hurt.

I will say that as a seller, I know that horrible feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when someone alleges that your item is counterfeit but you know it's not fake. And after the nausea goes away, the seller often feels anger; anger that with all the "real" fakes out there, her authentic item is being accused of being fake, anger that the buyer may not have done the proper research to verify their suspicions and defensiveness possibly resulting in insistence that it IS authentic, WAS bought directly from Coach, etc.

While I know that many dishonest sellers are also just as defensive, this seller's response was normal.

Welcome to TPF. There's a lot of valuable help and info here.

I thought this set looked pretty good until I saw the creed. Authentic & if so, I wonder what happened to the creed patch?!
I thought these had patent leather creeds but maybe it is made of something else. It appears authentic. There is another one on ebay with a similar problem: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTHENTIC-C...745071?hash=item2a6f77beef:g:k6MAAOSwv2JXwiXa
I have the sparkle leather version of this bag. It is really cute.
