Hi, all! I found this goodie at a thrift store and am wondering if it's authentic. Since it's so small, I had a really, really hard time getting a photo of the creed and serial number. It appears to say Made in New York City as well.

Let me know what you think. Maybe I have a treasure!

If it measures about 7.5" x 8" it's an authentic Compact Pouch, #9620. Nice find!

You did a great job getting the pictures. The bag is authentic. Remember that for bags with unique serial numbers, we need measurements to identify. This is probably a compact pouch 9620, if it is around 8 x 7.5 inches.

What is this bag? Please tell me it's fake. I am pretty sure it is but as you know.. newbie.
Item : black leather Coach purse
Creed: M04K-D44
Seller: thnxfrthvenom
Link: eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/262586169869

INCREDIBLY bad fake - not only badly made of cheap materials and very poor construction, but also has an invalid serial number. It's a $20 Canal Street Special, and even $20 would have been too much to pay - the only thing its suited for is for picking up after it when you walk your dog. And I bet even the dog would be embarrassed to be seen with it.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM thnxfrthvenom

The "Hudson" is fake, for the reasons you already mentioned. And that style had been discontinued long before 2003. I bet that the magnetic snap doesn't have a valid US Patent number either.

The others are ok. Style 9227 is an Ergo Retro Zip.
