Hello, Can I get several recent purchases authenticated? Thanks
ebay item: 311618494912
seller: trishy467
link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Satch...O1J17HjNDM5l%2Fdx6eaU%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

item: vintage XL duffel
item #: 262424203595
seller: olgaolga-123
link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/262424203595?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT Pretty sure this is genuine, it appears brand new. Could I have an opinion on the color? I think it is either putty or tabac, it doesn't have any orange tone so I don't think it is british tan. I'll attach my own pics. The color in real life is very similar to the first bag, I bought it to use as a matching makeup bag.
These both look fine. I don't know about the color. I doubt it is putty, since that has grayish tones. In 1981 there was a color called saddle which was more yellow than British tan. There was also a mocha, or it could be tabac. It is really hard to tell. My pictures of color samples vary greatly from picture to picture of the same color.

Last one...thank you! Really thought this one was navy...

Item: Station bag
Seller: Savers (in my possession)
Comments: The 2 sides of the d-ring loop are not the same shape; the L plant code being a little below the line of the other digits is a good sign, right?
It looks authentic. Yes, the L code being lower is a good sign.

Thanks Whateve. I just sent a message to the seller of the black duffel asking for a refund and to include shipping both ways since it is a fake. When I called ebay to ask about the message" you don't need to complete sale" they wouldn't tell me why the listing was removed. I suspected it was because it wasn't genuine but they wouldn't confirm. I hope the seller doesn't give me a hard time. I'm so glad the other duffel is genuine because it is in mint condition, rare to find 40 year bag not used. I suspect the color may darken after I condition it, so maybe it is tabac. I know what you mean about the colors, I looked at several pictures of vintage colors from old catalogs posted online, and they all look different. I'll post pics in the rehab forum if the color changes much.

Hi! Is it possible to authenticate these two items?

Item: Vtg COACH Brown Leather "Lunch Box" Small Satchel Cross Body Bag Purse
Listing number: 371636656077
Seller: station_85
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/371636656077?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Item: Vintage Black All Leather Handbag
Listing number: 112010193773
Seller: purselady2
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/112010193773?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
First one listed by station_85 (station85, station 85) is fake.
Second one is authentic.

Can I also get this one authenticated?

item: coach xl duffle 9085
ebay listing #: 262435643800
seller: mia8893
comments: I can't provide a link. I purchased and paid for this bag. After I received it, I got this notice from ebay: "We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller." I have concerns about the bag because the rivets on the strap are brass colored but seem faded and look silver in spots. The stitching on the bottom and the top piping seems rough. And I'm concerned that the listing was removed because it is fake. I haven't contacted the seller yet. She lists no returns and I wanted to get the forums opinion before I contact her. The bag is in amazing almost mint condition so I would be thrilled if it is genuine. I'll attach my pictures, thanks, ladies.

Yes, it's fake. Ask the seller to refund you. You shouldn't have any problem since the listing was removed so ebay knows it is fake.

I have several comments.

The bag you bought was one of several Coach listings that mia8893 had removed.
I was able to pull up the cache of the listing you won:

If the mia8893 is smart, she'll just issue a full refund and allow you to dispose of the bag because sending it back (at her own expense) would be a waste of both of your time. She can't resell it anywhere so why request it back?

If she even begins to balk at issuing a full refund including providing a return shipping
label if she wants you to return it, just open a SNAD (significantly not as described) case and choose "counterfeit" as the reason.

When she loses the case, she'll be required to provide the prepaid shipping label.

But if she's smart, she won't force you to open the case because after having had 10 listings removed, a dispute ding on her account will do serious damage, possibly preventing her from listing in the future.

In answer to your question about not having to complete the sale, that's what they tell you in the event you hadn't yet paid. But since you paid, they advise you to wait for the item and (imply that you) verify authenticity.

For privacy reasons, ebay won't tell you specifics about why the listing was removed, but since you know it's fake (having had it authenticated), you now know why!

Do not buy that bag. That style is a closely faked one but when side-by-side comparisons are made, the differences in quality are evident.

  • Note difference in amount of space between stitching at top of creed and horse and carriage logo
  • Note the difference in how high the rivets are on the handles of the fake vs. how much closer they are to the o-ring on the genuine
  • Note difference in the size of space between stitching on sides of creed and imprint
  • Note the differences in the HAC logo plaques
  • Note the differences in the quality of the pleating.
ETA: OOPS, not a Sabrina but still fake!!

Tq sooo much for info n quick reply ! Youre awesome dear ;) This gonna be my great reference for near future !
