Hello,

I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on the bag below. I understand the photos from Fashionphile are insufficient to fully authenticate, but I was wondering if you saw any red flags before I possibly take the plunge. In particular, I'm concerned that the "Made in France" stamping looks a bit messy. Thank you!

Still not quite sufficient, but I wouldn't want you to take a 3 hour trip to take pictures. If the seller takes pictures with her camera, tell her to use the macro (flower) button. If with her phone, she needs to zoom in and wait for it to focus before taking a shot.
So far bag looks good.

I'm adding new pics she took for me, I'm not sure if these are good enough? I appreciate your help SO much! I will attach the rest of the pics afterwards.

Hi everyone,
Hello Ironic, please help me to authenticate this Vintage Chanel Tote.

- Item name: Vintage Chanel Tote predicted to be from 1970s- 1980s
- Serial number: No hologram and there’s no trace of fallen off hologram so maybe before 1986?!
- Listing number: I bought already. This is now my possession I have share a login shot!
- Seller: private seller
- Comments: seller told me this was from the 70s. I have not found any similar images on Google.
A few things I have noticed:
1. zipper full has lettering “YBS”
2. the chain is different from my other Chanel mini 2015 and it has faded quite a lot (I once heard the myth of never fading vintage Chanel hardware)
3. No country on the inner label
4. Some of the leather twirled in the chain is not so good (is it just old?)

I have little knowledge regarding Vintage goods so please help me out so I can rest assured! Thank you so so much.

Just one more detail: this caviar leather is different from the ones we usually see. I did some research and here people are calling it “suede caviar”. Thanks again.
