Hi there, thanks for clearing that up. It seems as if no one has been able to authenticate for a while and that's absolutely fine but maybe someone needs to say we can't authenticate here for so and so amount of time just so there is not so much of a backlog with requests? Just a suggestion and I'm in no way trying to be rude, I hope you understand [emoji175][emoji4]

Do you have two accounts here? The response I sent was to Croissant.

It would have been helpful for you to scroll back a few pages if you're wondering about the time frame for authentications. Roku was authenticating a few days ago and posted she was sick and had also had a death in the family. This is a busy thread and we can rack up several pages of requests each day. We authenticate to the best of our ability and we don't always know what the day will bring.

We did post several times in that timeframe that requests were backed up. As this is a volunteer thread, we do the best we can. It seems like common sense if you see that requests are backed up by scrolling back, then you may consider one of the alternative services.

Thanks for your reply. No I don't have two accounts here and I know your reply was to someone else but this is a public forum and I was just thinking the same thing that's all. Your response is quite hostile and I don't think I said anything wrong. I also did read that roku is going through life issues and I completely understand why she can't be here authenticating. Like I said I didn't mean to be rude just stating a fact. Hope you have a lovely day/night, take care [emoji4]

I think it is important for all of us to remember that this is a free service provided to us by volunteers. Roku and Gail work very hard to organize this thread and authenticate our items to give us peace of mind. We should understand that this is not their full time job and that when life happens, they might not get to our requests as quickly as we would like. [emoji4]

Hi,
I would really appriciate tour help witha authenticating this chanel vintage bag. The seller is claiming that it is from 70s but im not sure if it is genuine, vecause there are several authentic vintage 2.54 with madamemoisellle lock and are slightly different.

Comments: not a Chanel expert, but looked into the hologram sticker and according to Yoogi's this sticker layout should be on a bag with a serial number that starts with a 7. Again, I have no clue about these things.
