Bear in mind that C-B no longer authenticates 15 million series and beyond classic flaps, reissues due to the proliferation of very good fakes.

That is correct, it is too time consuming given the amount of work, focused pictures and details needed. My personal advice for any member looking to buy a Classic Flap or Re-issue from 15 series and beyond is to pay a nominal fee of $5-$7 for a professional authentication service.

The super fakes have gotten so good that even Chanel are having problems with them but obviously have specific methods identifying them. I have therefore opted not to authenticate, unless the listing shows professional standard pictures and include all the markings, packaging, sales tag etc as I wouldn't want to shoulder a member spending $$$$ on a super fake.

Hi, the regular authenticators do not authenticate private transactions or an item based on one pic, for a small fee of $5-$7 you may want to consider using a third party authentication service such as Authenticate4u.com or Etincelerauthentications.com.

I'm not very expert in chanel but time ago I was looking for an autentication from mypoupette.com ... and it was really expensive.
Is it really possible to "buy" an autentication for 5-7 USD? it would be really a good news for me!
Are authenticate4u.com or http://etincelerauthentications.com recommended site for autentications? I'm sorry for my questions if I wrong treads. In this case i apologize.

Since the bag is in your possession, I suggest you wait to hear from your chosen authentication service as they will be able to view the listing and compare it with the bag you received.

Hi, MP have had mixed reviews on various forums. I personally will only use Authenticate4u.com and Etincelerauthentications.com for Chanel, they both provide an excellent service. An email evaluation is approx $5-$7, details are listed on their website. Hope this helps.

I'll use it for sure, also for authenticate my others chanel bag bought on private market or on VestiaireCollective. The problem is that Etincelerauthentications didn't make authentication for a new bags (from 2011...) without code or holograms.

I usually never buy bags without hologram and serial code number... but in this case I was thinking that it is very hard to make a fake with python leather ... usually they save money to make a good fake (alwais lambskin or caviar but it is very ahr to find a fake pregiate leather ... or not? :/

You're welcome. Counterfeiters also make Python flap bags too. I think Authenticate4u.com may authenticate post 2011 Classic Flaps and Re-issues. You have a nice day too.

The bag pictured is authentic, it appears that the interior lining has been replaced, check with the seller, this should be disclosed.

Why are you skeptical? They are a Chanel reseller.
