Wondering the same thing and if so and not in the bag…How did it get there???
San you need to use a third party authentication service authenticate4u.com or http://etincelerauthentications.com as the listings has ended.
Bear in mind that C-B no longer authenticates 15 million series and beyond classic flaps, reissues due to the proliferation of very good fakes.
That is correct, it is too time consuming given the amount of work, focused pictures and details needed. My personal advice for any member looking to buy a Classic Flap or Re-issue from 15 series and beyond is to pay a nominal fee of $5-$7 for a professional authentication service.
The super fakes have gotten so good that even Chanel are having problems with them but obviously have specific methods identifying them. I have therefore opted not to authenticate, unless the listing shows professional standard pictures and include all the markings, packaging, sales tag etc as I wouldn't want to shoulder a member spending $$$$ on a super fake.
