Hi, the regular authenticators do not authenticate closed listings, for a small fee of around $5-$7 you may want to consider using a third party authentication service such as Authenticate4u.com or Etincelerauthentications.com.
Hello,
I have just reached out to a third party, but I was looking back on this thread and it appears as though someone had posted this same bag: vintage chanel flap and seller: fourleafchloe when the listing was still up. I have been in contact with this seller and she has not yet sold the bag. Back on March 17, 2014, you stated that the bag was authentic, as per post below. However, the serial code in the picture of the ebay link was blurry and so I asked the seller for a clearer picture. It turns out the serial number is not 3001661, rather it is 3091651. Please see attached picture. Based on this information, would you be able to assist me in determining whether or not this is indeed authentic?

I don't quite capture all of this... but... You might want to wait until CB gets back to you since it seems you are responding to her... and she might be the one who responded to the other post you are referring to... but... if you are asking if opinion changes based on the single digit difference, I would guess probably not, but perhaps wait for CB, or, maybe you can also wait for the third party auth you contacted to respond, since you have the item in hand.
