A bit anxious about the diamonds at the back of the bag since lines are not well-aligned.

The bag in the photos is authentic despite the intentional censoring of a few of the numbers on the hologram sticker

How about the stitching at the back where diamonds are not perfectly formed? Notice that the vertical stitching at the right is not aligned whereas the one in the left is perfectly aligned..??

I don't think that I should go into detail, but I will just say there are authentic bags where the stitching of diamonds aren't perfectly aligned, and there are fake bags where the stitching of diamonds are perfectly aligned. It's a multitude of factors really, but attributes of an authentic item don't make an authentic item. Only the item itself does.

If you have more doubts you can always consult one of the authentication services - it should put your mind at ease.

The bag pictured is authentic. As stated by Roku, we look at several factors before determining authenticity, the stitching is just one of them.

The bag pictured is authentic but it looks to me that it may have been re-dyed which should be disclosed, please check with the seller. You should note that any repairs carried out by any repair service other than Chanel will void its warranty.

This is just my own opinion but honestly, I wouldn't recommend Caroldiva. She tries to be expert in too many brands and has a long history of making many mistakes. In fact, there have been several posts saying that Carol's authentications are no longer accepted by ebay (due to mistakes) and Carol herself told someone she no longer does Coach.

Although I've never used Etinceler, I consider them and A4U the best for professional Chanel authentications.

As for rhondaroni0 not receiving a response from A4U, I wonder whether she might have an incorrect email address. A4U (in my experience) is very prompt in their responses.

Thank you for taking the time to post. I personally will only use Authenticate4u and Etinceler for Chanel and find they both provide an excellent service and quick turnaround.

I sent in my request to authenticate4u.com almost 3 weeks ago. Nothing yet. Getting nervous because I only have one more week to file a claim.

I am not giving up on a4u. She has helped me authenticate soooo many items. I just wish I was in the UK so I could actually call her.

I've been using Lesley for months so it's just really odd. ..... Nice gal. Saved me $1000 on a fake Gucci purse!! You know.... I really appreciate this forum. I wish I could contribute more but I am so new to designer items. I will just soak in everything and maybe one day be an authenticity goddess like many of you!! After the Gucci fiasco, I definitely feel like I can authenticate a Sukey. That's one under my belt! haha.

I know. She is usually very quick. I haven't been able to contact her since around Halloween. I have 12 or so outstanding authentications and most of them have gone beyond the 30 days to file a claim. I emailed her also from another email, thinking I was in her spam folder, but nothing. I submitted to etincelerauthentications so hopefully I can get an answer this week while I still have time. I didn;t expect you guys to be so quick or I would have asked before the listing ended! I know on the Gucci thread, it's nearly impossible to get a quick answer so I usually end up submitting to Castira. Good to know that you guys are on it for future reference.
