Ideally I would like to see the markings on the interior zipper pull, the back side of the CC turnknob showing the 2 screws and CHANEL/PARIS engraving but the rest of the details show an authentic bag.

I would encourage everyone to verify with the authentication service stated in any auction/online sales that they have authenticated the bag. This is part of their service.

Authentic as per as post #9862. It is vintage Chanel and the markings are different to that of modern bags. It is not a pen holder, it is for the chain so that you can have a different option of wearing the bag.

The bag pictured is authentic. The leather is missing from the chain.

The seller mentions that the bag has been restored but the piping on the corners show damage. You should note that any repairs carried out by any repair service other than Chanel will void its warranty.
