Hello,

I just purchased this item below. I am really excited but also worry about the authenticity.

Item Name: Chanel Classic Medium double flap bag

Seller: Portero (Bag is from Taiwan)
Who took the pictures: Portero
History of the bag: I dont know
Comments:

I have 3 days when i receive this purse to get it authenticated.
My questions are:
1. Is this authentic? Can anyone tell?
2. This purse doesnt come with a authentic card. Will this be a problem in the future?

I would appreciate any feedback.

The photos show an authentic Chanel. Cards are often lost for vintage bags and Chanel does not need the card to service an authentic bag...if that's your concern. I am not a professional, nor one of the regular authenticators but I own many vintage Chanel and would not give my opinion if I wasn't confident. :smile1:

Up for grabs is this beautiful vintage Chanel Maxi Flop, Caviar handbag. Purchased in 2008. The bag is in good shape for its use. There is only a few scratches in the inside from regular use. I tried to do my best to clean it up. The outside is in great shape, always kept in a dust bag.

I lost the authenticity card a few years ago and the hologram sticker is somewhat cut. The original serial number is (12259148). If you are looking for a good looking bag, without having to spend the money for a new one, then this bag will make you happy :)

There is no reserve, so whoever bids higher gets it. I will accept returns after 14 days if you are not happy with the bag. Just return it and as soon as I receive it in the same condition, I will return your money. No questions asked!!!

And a 12xxxxxx series bag is NOT vintage - this seller obviously doesn't have a clue...

Chanel bags are sold with their original dust bag and box at the Chanel stores....
