Hello, could you kindly help me with authentification of this Celine nano lugage bag? I bought this pre-owned/pre-loved bag with some blemishes and spots (hence the low price, and I also negotiated the price down a bit) and it came today, looking good but now I'm a little worried about it's authenticity. I checked a few internet guides on what to be aware on the bags and majority seemed to check as legit (but obviously I'm no expert by any means) - the biggest problem/doubt I have is that I tried to check everywhere but I do not see serial number/or can't find it. I don't know if that can happen by error or it's because it's fake/replica. I'm attaching a few pictures made by me, too. Appreciate a lot if you can let me know. Big thanks!

Hi there, I just purchased this Celine Phantom bag circa 2012 collection, and it is being shipped to me now. I can return it if I find anything on it that is deemed not authentic. Can someone help me? I will update with new photos once I receive it in the mail. I only have 14 days from when it is shipped to return it, so I want to get a start on it now with the stock photos from the online listing. The items that concern me in the photos are: 1) It is not heat stamped. I did read on a few websites however, that not all of these bags were heat stamped, and some were indeed embossed. Because it is an all black bag, I think this could be one of those embossed ones. 2) It has a zipper that is all black, but I have found images of all black hardware, so I can't tell if this is a popular fake, or a real version. I read that Phoebe's collection had many discrepencies in them..or that they were not always consistent, so some bags had this embossed maybe, and some didn't. 3) This bag says it has one inside pocket. I don't know what year they started making it with more than one interior pocket. 4) I just can't tell what the inside looks like at all, and can't see the inside stamping until I get it. I DID ask for the "date code" and they gave that to me. It is "F-SP-0142" which would indicate is was made in the fourth week of 2012 I believe, according to my research online today.

So the other seller is not answering me...
Found another one on vestiarie.
I asked the seller for a pic of the "Made in Italy" stamp/sign and they say there's no.

So is it already a Fake?

However here's the offer

Offer ID: 30327541
Platform: vestiarie
Seller: unkown

Hi! Can anyone please help me authenticate this Celine Trapeze bag? Thank you so so much!

Comments: already bought and received. I do believe the buttons on one of the side panels has been replaced and am probably going to request to return the bag because of this (as it wasn't mentioned in the description and would be hard to see only from pictures in the ebay-listing). I have added pictures of the buttons, on one side the leather is different and there's a 1mm difference in size (14mm and 15 mm).

Hello Sophia,

Please help me authenticate this celine hand bag as listed below:
Item: Celine Medium Clasp Bag - Black
The bag code is S-GM-3167

Thanks very much for your help!!!

Does anyone know if Celine recycles their bag codes? I'm fairly certain my bag has this same bag code, though I can't take a clear photo like Fran1 has. The original Rebag listing for mine has it listed as the same code.

Based on photos our bags can't be the same, my bag doesn't have that single dimple (likely from the zipper). I have twin dimples in the fully unzipped position because the zipper pull can get stuck sideways.

Edit: I'm giving a hearty thank you to Sophie! I've been searching as far back as posts from 2019 to compare authenticated bags against my own, and so far it looks good! Waiting on a Real Authentication for the final word. I didn't even think to come here until after I submitted there.

AFAIK, those aren't, strictly speaking, bag codes, but rather production codes. I'm not sure what the letters mean, probably something to do with the place of production? But the numbers are for the week and year. Numbers 1 and 3 for the week, 2 and 4 for the year. So the 36th week or 2017.

Thank you so much for the clarification. Real Authentication came back saying my preloved bag is authentic and based on the research in here. I can't wait to carry this beauty around.
