Thanks, T! Do you know if that tarnishing is fixable? Would Burberry change out the zippers for a charge? And what year were these backpacks made? The booklet names Christopher Bailey, so sometime in the range of 2014-18? But not sure how the rest of the bag looks unused but the zippers are in such rough shape! (Maybe humidity??) Not sure if I should keep it…

yeah - I don't know -some bags from this era had gold plated zippers I thought - and I wonder why they would tarnish like that. Yeah, if you don't love it - don't keep it. That's how I think - I am really fussy that way though. And it is a lot of money - so you should love it.

Well, the box is real. It is possible it is a Made in Japan on license issue - I don't like them at all and do not participate because they are sold high and are not Burberry as WE know it - it has no made in tag - just two Burberry stamps - and a NYLON zipper. Didn't see the zipper pull.
I don't like these items - I hope you can return it.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond! I felt sure that it couldn’t possibly be a genuine Burberry as also, the interior plasticy cardholder sleeves were not even sewn in so everything looked cheap (dollar store quality). I am likely out the money but, lesson learned. Thanks again.

The wallet in question isn't technically fake and it does match the description, so there isn't anything the buyer can do, unfortunately.

These are all over ebay too - and lots coming from Japan - where they were made years ago when they a license to make Burberry.

I agree with you that the quality is just not quite there. These items just don't look like something a luxury designer house would make. Personally, I never considered them to be Burberry, even if technically they are authentic.

I agree completely and I think you should try for a refund because it is a type of scam really- it is not Burberry as we know it
