Is that the same gold stamp in both sets of photos? Any content tags?

Hi! Just got this vintage baguette. Concerned about no Made In tag. I saw a couple of other bags on Posh that also have the same little metal plaque that just says Burberry so it seems that maybe they went through a phase of doing this? Also there are different colored (blue and clear) protective stickers on different parts of the hardware..

For a while, a company in Japan held a license to make Burberry. They made this - burberry parts etc., and technically not fake - but they are made under license. They can be identified by the no made in tag, different designs, that lining, that zipper pull.
At the same time, other bags were being made elsewhere - eg Italy
My opinion - not Burberry as we know it
Did you get it in Japan or from there? Also, they should be a lower price point

Thank you - I never knew that but that makes sense! I did purchase it from a Japan seller, it was around $200. So is it still a real (although “licensed”) Burberry then?
