This looks like a Caramel (?) Cervo Shoulder Bag from Spring/Summer 2009. There is no authenticity tag sewn into the interior pocket?

That is odd. Unfortunately, I can’t in good conscience authenticate this bag without it. It would be strange that there would be this exact style and colour replicated so well, especially over 20 years ago. I wonder if someone cut the tag out.
Hi, can anyone help authenticate? I have never seen a bottega bag like this one, nor can I find anything similar on the internet.

The seller responded to my request for return that the bag was authenticated by Handbag Clinics and Vestiaire Collective (LOL). The intrecciato is very messy - definitely not the quality of BV. That’s the first giveaway. It’s uneven, where it should be very uniform looking. Like that pretty Sunset (?) Veneta you have.
There seem to be ties? Dead giveaway for fakes.
The authenticity tag belongs to a small pouch like bag (see photo below) from Cruise/Resort 2010 or 2011 in the colour Tourmaline and was done in a glazed like leather. Colour codes beginning with a 4 are blue shades. The leather code for the red Cabat should correspond with either a Nappa or light calf code (V?9131 and something else, sorry I’m not at home and going from memory) and this one (VN032) doesn’t.
The style number for a Cabat should be 113129, 115664 or 141498 depending on the size.
It is not the first time that someone has sewn in a real authenticity tag into a fake bag.

The first season The Pouch came out, it had an attached wallet. Need to see clear, closeup photos of both sides of the authenticity tag.
