We need to see both sides of the authenticity tag for a proper opinion, but I’d say the Ebano Medium (?) Veneta is authentic, IMO

Unfortunately this is impossible to authenticate in the absence of an authenticity tag. I suspect (but cannot say for sure) that there may be an RFID chip embedded into the BV stamped patch. Bottega has done buyers a real disservice by making these bags so easily faked.
I would be suspicious of anyone who can claim to authenticate newer models like this that don’t have an authenticity tag.

This is an authentic Nero Intreccio Natte Hobo Bag from Fall/Winter 2008. This type of treatment (Natte) was only done on four styles - Hobo, Clutch, Boston Bag, and a Tote

Hi, please help authenticate these lug boots. I just purchased these from RealReal and I’m not sure if they are authentic or not. The stitching looks good, the style looks correct but the thing that’s bothering me is that they feel light.
Also, the inside heat/blind(?) stamp on the sole of the shoe is not facing the same direction as the picture on Bottega’s site. It’s the same font but the picture on website shows the name with bottom of lettings facing in vs the boots I have, it’s facing out (hope that makes sense).
I’ve only ever tried the lug boots in store once so my memory is hazy and I’m only using pictures on the website as my guide. I do remember them being much heavier in store.
