Hello dear authenticators! Can you authenticate this bag, please?
I don't have a link, it's from second-hand shop.
It's a lizard bag from fw 2009/2010, I don't know the name. Thank you very much!

The Grape Parure Karung Bag from F/W 2009 is authentic, IMO :flowers:

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone can help me authenticate this small loop bag colored kiwi. I suspect a fake but not 100% sure. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately this is impossible to authenticate in the absence of an authenticity tag. I suspect (but cannot say for sure) that there may be an RFID chip embedded into the BV stamped patch. Bottega has done buyers a real disservice by making these bags so easily faked. Although I guess they probably don’t really care - they want you to buy direct from them.
I will say that the roughness of the Intrecciato has no bearing on authenticity. A lot of calfskin bags have that very slight imperfect edge of the fettuce.
I would be very leery of anyone who can claim to authenticate newer models like this that don’t have an authenticity tag. If I were you, you could take your bag into a boutique, feign innocence and ask them if they can tell you what colour your bag is, since you *forgot* ;)
Good luck :flowers:

The Medium Veneta is authentic, IMO. I’m not sure of the colour, it could have been called Terre? or Terracotta? They didn’t use colour codes on the tag back then (around 2001-2003). The bag is in nice condition given it’s age. :flowers:

Thank you. This is authentic - vintage - this treatment is a precursor to a Catena (with the chain) treament done in 2006 - the only similarity is the chain. :)

I apologize for the delay in expressing my gratitude by saying, "Thank you," for authenticating this bag for me.

My bags like LV/Bottega have all been purchased from thrift stores or flea markets and I am proud of my thrifted collection.

I always get a special feeling to find BV in the wild. Perhaps it is because I bought a BV bag years ago at my charity shop for $7, sold it for $900 and always regretted that sale? I had found another BV two months earlier for $10 in black identical to this, https://www.1stdibs.com/en-gb/fashi...-drawstring-flap-crossbody-bag/id-v_15411942/ with a year of 2013.

This bag is vintage (2006), but in pristine condition for it's age, also It is the most I paid for a BV, (The store has C-o-a-c-h bags priced higher and behind the counter. The bag you authenticated was hanging forlorn on the handbag rail.) It is like a doctor's satchel style to me.
